    GPX250 no spark

    hi all
    my wifes gpx250 1997 model has no spark
    done the usual checks and would like to test my igniter box on a running bike

    can any one help please

    it is an easy test not take long
    these models have several differant types so my part number is

    21119-1415
    131800-6140
    12v TNCF32

    hope someone can help

    Tried jumping it (jumper leads, to your car)?


    In my experience even if a GPX will crank, they don't start if the battery is even slightly flat, which leads me to believe the coils are weak as piss (cranking = ok, fuel = gravity fed so the flat battery must = no spark).

    if your battery is below 50% its hard to start, sometimes u get lucky but when ever i cant start i put my battery on the charger and its like 50%. thats from me working on the bike and leaving it turned to on lol.
