New Battery - Where from ??

Any ideas on the best place to get a new Bike battery ?

Never had to buy one before, but the 07 BUSA battery has finally given up the ghost and needs replacing ASAP.

The dealer where I bought the bike is quoting AUD$188 for a YUSA battery; just not sure if that's a competitive offer or not...

Any feedback, comments or advice greatly appreciated !

Battry World Joondalup has well priced batteries but haven't needed one for a few years. The employee there also recommended a battery commonly used by Harleys as they held more amps to turn tractor motors on cold mornings. You'll probably find the dealer was offering a factory battery otherwise known as a Yuasu Battery with Suzuki written on it.

+1 We got a new battery for our Turbo Territory and the service was good, if you do a search on various sites like Yuasa's you can find batteries the same size with more amps, I did that with my Bird, std is a YTZ12S and I went for a YTZ14S (ST1300 battery) at the same size for an extra 20 CCA's

Battery should be around the $100-120 mark tops, yausa is a decent brand but in general they are all out of china/thailand/taiwan etc. But a bit over $100 for the battery, maybe up to $150 if you get a good gel battery, but for $190 you would really wanna be getting a fancy over the top absorbed glass matt battery rather than a run of the mill yausa. Should be somethng like a
    12a-bs for the busa.
If its got tits or wheels, it going to give you trouble.
