Good idea, only one small problem....

They don't see the sun in the UK, we do.
Need to restyle the shape or you will get sun flashes from the mirror, which makes it more dangerous than without it.

Any reason you can't just look left or right? It's just as easy as looking down and more reliable.

it does however give you an extra opportunity to spot a hazard while checking your speedometer periodically to avoid the tax collectors
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.

    From the FAQ:

"No as the curve angle at the top is quite sharp so the reflected sun appears very small, there is much more chance you will be dazzled by the glass of your instruments or chrome in your forward line of view.

Being dazzled at night doesn't happen with RiderScan under normal road riding conditions."

Reviews I looked at on YouTube seem to back this up.

One YouTube reviewer said that it works best when you are in situations (eg heavy traffic) where shoulder glancing is less than ideal; he also said though that he wouldn't stop shoulder glancing as he didn't want to lose the habit for when he rode other motorcycles.
