Just need the fairings and she's back on the road!
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?
when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.
Fairings should be here next weekI have Kahil from K-Tech coming today to check the bike over again mechanical to ensure everything is ok will post up the results!
He's just finished up with the bike, he says that the frame is not bent that the slight dip is more than likely a casting defect. He mentioned that where it is slightly dented in is the thickest part of the frame (1") and would be the last place for the bike to be dented, the welds would be cracked well before then.
Pretty good guy, very friendly and great price! Gave me a few parts to shop for still and then shes back together!
The universe likes speed. Don't delay. Don't second guess. Don't doubt. When the opportunity is there, when the impulse is there, when the intuitive nudge from within is there, act.

Hey man, have you tried to fit your fairings yeT?
iv had the tail section on, im going to need to trim the undertray to make it fit, as its normally made up of 3 parts not one.
waiting to get some braided lines for the front before i put the nose cone and sides on tho, hopefully wont be to long
yes the bike is in my games room....

i figured it would be easier to do with out the nose on?

Nah, just feed it through![]()
hmm, i might do that, would be nice to see the fairings on lol
hi truewheel the fairings went pretty good. They all fit reasonably well, except for a few tabs showing that could be grinded down if could be bothered (not me :p) but yeah overall, unless you are perfectionist you cant tell
If your chasing a side fairing only, may I suggest you go for OEM might be a bit more expensive but would be definitely worth it.
If its just for your 250, id just sell it tbh
I'm not sure about the kits bit I'm fairly sure your better off just buying a full kit as the transport cost is about $150~ so a full kit is $400 and transport to perth,wa was about total cost $510 for all fairings.
can hardly tell![]()
Looks pretty flash there Sookie, top photo of your shed looks great too, especially with the TV!![]()

Yep I agree, looks pretty good. I might just have to fork out for OEM - the big concern is the colour match. I just tried to go aftermarket with a seat cowl and the fit and colour match sucked to the point of being unusable.
It didn't look that far on the map...

Yer I reckon you're spot on there. If I aftermarket just the 2 side fairings I need, the colour mismatch is gonna be enough to get my "yer mate, I went for a two tone look - pretty cool huh?" pitch the bullshit treatment when I go to sell.
Looking around at the aftermarket kits there are some pretty crazy colours available - golden yellow, bright blue, even a shocking pinkish purplish thing. The racing livery ones are not my thing, but plenty of those as well.
And besides, if I did a whole kit in a non standard colour I'd have to get the tank resprayed & I'm too lazy to bother with a bike I'm selling in a few months...
It didn't look that far on the map...
I'd just be honest with your ninja and sell it with a stationary drop.
Or as it's a ninja, theres 1239812903 of them so you may find some mint condition fairings over the next few months on ebay/gumtree/motorcycleparts.com.au
