old fuel filter

im having a fuel problem and just wanna know how to check if and how much and fuel filter is blocked
i just brought it and have no idea when it was last changed?

If its not fuel injected, just remove the fuel hose from the carbs and turn on the fuel tap (on vacuum operated tap choose prime)

Fuel should flow very freely out of the hose.
