Park lights on 04-08 R1

hey peeps,
not long ago i bought some HID headlamps on eBay. looks sweet.
next step is to change the park lamps to same/close color.

has anyone changed these at all? if your not sure, its the lights at the top of the head light. i cant see any cap for it so im baffled.

I did this a year ago - put some blue led parkies on the R1 and it looks mint. Traffic cop doing a licence check informed me they're illegal but no yellow sticker...yet.

Its a bit late (and I'm too lazy) to go out and revise how I did it with pics - just remember it was pretty easy. I'm not that technically skilled either. I think the key was to remove the plastic fascia adjacent to the main headlights for access, its a screw and one of those plastic buttons that you depress the centre to remove. I seem to recall the light itself was just a plug-in globe holder like most head & park lights. You ease it out in toto then change the globe and replace.

Someone who knows their bikes inside out like Desmogod, Bear122 or Hewie will probably give you a step by step if you ask nicely. Its seriously not hard.
