Pazzo Levers - Long or Short??
So i'm thinking of ways to spend more money on my bike and liked the look of these levers (both sides).
I cant decide whether to get the short or long ones. I find that my OEM ones dont lend themselves to changing gears with 2 fingers as comfortably as i'd like
However, i'm unsure how short the short ones actually are (i've seen pics but not in the flesh) and dont want levers (clutch especially) that can only be operated with the 2 fingers.
Those experienced ones amongst you please help this noob out.....

I have shorties on the R1, and they are awesome.
They do take a fair bit of getting used to, but once there, I can't fault them.
Not sure how a shorty clutch lever would go on a Duc though, might be hard work.
Buy them then tell me so I can figure out if I want long or short on mine

I have black on black longs on both but a lot of guys like a long clutch and a short brake (for the 2 finger squeeze)

Exactly what I wanted... But I just got shorties...
I find i use 3 fingers (thats what fits on the lever) for the clutch and it's not unnatural feeling and 2 fingers on the brake.
Works for me... Was playing with someone's stock levers the other day and I was amazed at how much the difference was now that I was used to the pazzos!

Not pazzos... but i have ASV shorties on both sides of my bike, and can use 3 fingers on the clutch if i need to use it a lot - which is enough.
... much like padfoot...

so, if you have to buy them again, would you get 2 shorties, or 1 long (clutch), 1 short?

^^ same situation as padfoot, i'm happy with short.
If you usually use 3 fingers on the clutch i reckon you'd be fine going short (the ASV are even shorter than most short ones)?

It took about a day to get used to (for both levers, not just clutch... But moreso clutch as I was already 2 finger braking) but now I'm fine.
So if I was buying again, I'd go shorties both sides again. I'm very happy with them.

I went short Pazzo's on the 14, I love the short brake but hate the clutch. and as I like everything nice and equal two different levers would just drive me nuts.
So, next time it will be long, both sides for me.

Pazzo shorties are absolutely beautiful! As everyone says they take a little getting used to but when you do, FANTASTIC. Oh yeah shorties both sides (3 fingers on each)

I have shorties on both bikes. I prefer them. 2-3 fingers for clutch and brake.

if you havent done the swap to a larger clutch slave cylinder, the shorties will be shit on the ducati's heavy clutch(wet clutch on 848 might be lighter action)...
I have shorty's on the 1098, and although great for the brake, i wish i had long on the clutch, as 2 1/2 fingers get a workout in traffic etc

Love the 2 finger brake on the cbr600rr 05, but more importanly LOVE the 2 finger clutch. Makes the takeoffs much better, or rather the waiting...

I find my clutch a little heavy for 2 fingers when sitting at lights or taking off. Changing gears is fine but as you say, for the slower stuff i'm glad i can use a 3rd or 4th finger sometimes. This is why i was wondering how many fingers i can get 'round a shortie. Seems its 3...

ahh no .. the Duke doesnt come out much. I have ridden it in peak hour a couple of times .. much prefer the R1 for my commuting needs its alot easier to ride.. The clutch on the duke is very very heavy and it hates going under 80kph. If your going to ride everyday in heavy traffic I would prolly suggest you get long levers. (Im not sure how the clutch on a 848 is though)
It has about 1600ks on it ... so less than the elusive SP
