    R1 coolant pipe replacement, help

    hi guys,
i have an 04 r1 and the top right radiator pipe (the solid plastic one) is leaking, just seeping through the seem.
does anyone know of any aftermarket pipes you can get? possibly steel or something?
or am i stuck with another $115 plastic pipe from yamaha? which i have to wait 3 weeks for, and will probably just do the same thing down the track

    thanks for any help

Is there a bug or adbots or something on PSB, this is the second time I have seen the word radiator linked to an eBay page.

Gutsy question. You're a shark. Sharks are winners, and they don't look back because they have no necks. Necks are for sheep.

    thanks guys
its not the rubber hose that i need tho, the solid plastic bit that joins the two
would be good if someone made an ally one or something
its not leaking onto the ground yet just seeping through and you can see a few runs on the fairings but its only going to get worse.
can still ride it but wanted to go for a decent run for a couple days and it feels a bit dodgy like this.

Got told by a yamaha mech that pipe is known to crack, the new one will last awhile though

Yeah most 04-05 r1 owners I've talked to have had the coolant leak at some point, had me worrying about head gaskets or something more sinister.

I've had good luck here before, plenty of smashed up R1's to grab bits off, just find someone and send them a message.

Google that part number, you can pick them up for $30 overseas.
DO NOT pay local prices for Yamaha parts, they rip you off fucking blind.
