    Refitting exhausts to other bikes

    Hi Everyone,

Would like to know all your opinions on refitting an exhaust to a ZXR250c (1991)

The exhaust is this one - CARBON Sport Exhaust For CBR 250 RR MC22 MC19 250cc | eBay

To my understanding all that's needed is modification of the flange. Is that right?

    Regards

depends whether the pipe is the same size. if it is the same size you should be able to just bolt it on.....

If the pipe is different diameter then you would need to get a step up or down pipe and add that to the flange pipe for it to fit your bike.

Then you just got to make sure it fits your exhaust clamp, and everything lines up and of you go.

    Shouldnt be too difficult.

theres not much to them, if you've got a grinder and a welder there's no reason you wont do it. probly easiest if you can get your hands on the end of a cbr's pipe and worst case you just weld that onto the end of your pipe.
