    Sprocket conversion help

    Hi all,

Is there anyone out there interested in helping me out with sprockets and chain replacement in exchange for a bottle of you favorite poison?

Have had the new sprockets and chain sitting around for the past few weeks but have not had any time to do anything about it.

The bike has swingarm bobbins to make rear wheel removal easier. Just need a paddock stand, chain breaker/ grinder, master link rivet tool, impact sockets and a suitable wrench or rattle gun and it should be sorted within an hour or so. So let me know if you can help me out over this weekend or after 5pm next week.

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Shelley...

    I can do it tomorrow...

You need a workshop manual, or just all the torque values...

    Cheers Rich,

Tomorrow would be awesome. Ill find some torque values for the front and rear sprocket nuts. The owners manual has most of the other values required.

Again, thanks heap for your help this morning Rich - your a champ.

Set up the SpeedoDRD for the -1/+1 gearing and tested the fruits of labor this arvo. Very happy with how the bike accelerates in the lower gears. Actually I must have been grinning like an idiot behind the helmet.

All up it was just over 260 Aussie for the two sprockets, chain and SpeedoDRD. Online shopping victory.

Oh I assure you I was very well behaved this afternoon despite the temptation. Went for a run around Curtin uni and through the surrounding suburbs. Plenty of fun to be had dodging potholes and navigating those larger roundabouts in the area.
