    best bang for buck!

best handling mod ever! anyone who hasnt got a base set up should pm marty moose, handling improved dramatically improving confidence! not only did he set it up it quick time but also took his time to explain why the bike will do certain things on certain settings and how to fix them! best 50buks spent on my bike, hopefully get to fine tune it soon,

    Thnaks again marty, great bloke

MM seems to be getting plenty of rave reviews.

Yes indeed. Had a great run out to Toodyay last weekend, and a blat out to Cheers last night.

Will need to tweak the compression 'to feel' and she'll be spot on.

I enjoy riding my bike again.

    Thumbs up Thanks Marty Moose

Big to Marty Moose for setting aside his time to help me sort out my suspenion. Didn't realise the difference it would make to the bike to have the suspension adjusted properly. The ride home was sooo much more enjoyable.
Strongly recommend Marty to anyone. Very knowledgable man and he is more than happy to spend the time explaining everything to you.

    Thumbs up

    Shameless bump.

A big thanks to Marty Moose for adjusting my suspension (on my 04 GSXR750) last night (and with short notice too!).

My bike used to wobble and sway and do all sorts of crazy things due to the poor suspension setup - to be honest, I have never bothered with the front or rear suspension since I got the bike in Dec 2006. Under braking the bike was unstable and any bumps in the road + braking would really upset it and not to mention scare the sh!t out of me on certain occasions. After asking a few people on PSB who I should talk to regarding my suspension they all recommended Marty.

I thought that I might have to end up spending a lot of money fixing the suspension because the handling of the bike was extremely poor (bouncing in corners, not much feel of the front tyre etc). Not to mention the possible internal effects to the suspension from the "bike into curb" incident that I had.

I suppose part of the reason I never bothered with the suspension was that I thought I am not using the bike to its full potential so there is no need to play with the "stock" (or whatever) settings. I thought that I wouldn't actually benefit from it.

Edit: I forgot to say that Marty explained everything he was doing and adjusting and was enthusiastic about it all the way through. His enthusiasm gave me some hope for my bike . What a top bloke.

I can not stress this point enough - the difference that it has made to the feel of my bike is unbelievable. I took the bike for a spin around the block and straight away I noticed how much better the bike handles bumps in the road both under brakes and just normal riding. The front end actually feels stable, essentially nailed to the ground compared to what it was before.

On the way to work I take the Great Eastern Highway/Canning Highway onramp from Causeway (big left hander):
Yesterday - I was bouncing around on the left hand wheel-track and going toward the even bumpier center.
Today - I owned that corner, same line all the way through. It's awesome to have more confidence in yourself and your machine !

Also Marty wrote everything down on a piece of paper and all the changes he made which he gave to me for future reference. He also showed me a new method of lifting the front and rear tire of the bike off the ground which was excellent .

Time for me to stop rambling and get back to work.

If your bike needs suspension work done or if you just aren't happy with the handling (as I was) then I highly recommend Marty! I'll definitely keep in touch with him

    Really really happy

Thumbs up Big Thanks to Marty Moose our resident suspension Guru

Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting our resident suspension guru Marty Moose, I spoke to him a number of weeks ago about how my ZX7 wasn't feeling right and it felt as though it was too soft so on and so forth, so to make a long story short, he invited me to go over so he could have a look and see what he could do for me.

So i go over Marty checks things out and starts his magic, about an hour or so later he has tweeked this and tweeked that so my fat ass doesn't bottom out the rear end and makes the front end a shit load harder to improve the braking and everything else it does (Sorry Marty forgot some of what you told me going back to study has fried my brain some what), took her out and bloody hell it's a completely different bike.

It no longer feels like I can feel every small bump in the road, she corners a shit load easier and I can feel the brakes a shit load more, I can't recomned Marty enough, if you need you suspension dialed in give him a call he does an awesome job, I'm sure there are many other PSB members that have had the pleasure of Marty's magic and I'm sure there will be many more.

Again Marty thanks for your work mate I couldn't be happier with the outcome.:Bow:

Cos my bike feels fine and so did my last r1 so what do I do? give marty moose a ring and say " I think my bike is fine any chance you can make it better?"

Will that work? cos everybody raves about him but what do I say if I dont know whats wrong?
