Thanks for the kind words Roller I just have a soft spot for ZXR's and ZX7's![]()
Redfern its not magic mate just a basic set up and dial in. You may find your bike is spot on for you out of the crate! This is rare but if it works for you then DON'T TOUCH IT LOL if it aint broke don't fix it
![]()
They are a very fine bike out of the crate I know Arwon loves his. If someone is not happy with any of my work I change it back how it was and there is no cost.We record where the suspension was and any changes made so this is easy to do. Oh one last thing the tyres can be read its not the be all and end all, but can be a guide only unless they are really screwed.
Cheers

Thanks marty Ill have a think about it.
Is there a general price range of what it costs to get adjusted so I have an idea?

on the 07 there are real gains to be made very easily by setting it up correctly, I am yet to see one come out of the shop setup well, or even close. But once setup, they are magic.
Atlas Performance, dyna pumps, " your name goes here"
that is a good question redfern i have wondered if for a 75kg rider there are any improvements to be made from stock? as i believe that is about the design weight or am i missing something?
I guess there is only one way to find out...
As Marty said if your happy with how the bike feels and works for you don't change it, but if like in my case I knew there was improvements in the handling that could be made I suggest do it.
you may think your bike "feels" fine but have you actually rode someones bike with the suspension setup (probs have to be same model bike)? if you havent well you cant really say it feels fine because you wont know the difference between fine and crap.
youll never know if you never try, and its probally the most valuable "modification" you can do to the bike, all these people cant be wrong?
+1 Brendon

Thanks MARTY I belive you are the man.
and I thought my bike was ok now it is the bomb.
Yeah brendon You hit the nail, I just wanted to make sure people werent gonna say, I hated my set-up thats why I changed it.
I should give it a go either way.
Went and saw Marty for a chat and a play around with a few things on the Daytona.
Great guy, learnt a lot even though we didn't change much. If Marty has the time, I recommend you take your bike up to see him.
Spent an hour with Marty tonight as he set up the suspension on my GSXR. He explained everything to me as we went along and the improvement was unbelievable.
The ride home was a lot more enjoyable. I'd recommend Marty to anyone.
Cheers Marty, much appreciated.
Hey guys
As the title says and go and see Marty Moose PSBs resident suspension expert.
This guy really knows his stuff and my bike rides so much better now that my suspension is adjusted for my riding and weight and i am not intimidated by my bike anymore.
If you are not sure or have some doubts about your suspension/handling go see Marty he will fix it without a doubt. He is a good bloke and X mechanic who has been working on bikes for a very long time (not saying he is old). He will also teach you a thing or to as well.
Cant recommend him highly enough.
I know there was a thread about someone who had the same experience as me BUT i thought it was worth mentioning it again.
Cheers Marty
out of order

yeh I want to get him to check out the 750 for me, just gotta get around to speaking to him to arrange![]()
Agreed Marty sorted out my suspension a couple of weeks back and it is sooooo much better.
I'm sure marty is good(i'm even considering talking to him), but do we need a new thread every time someone takes his bike to him.
really?
