Smile Two Bro's on T Street Triple

    Hi guys,

Im looking at getting the two brothers on my new Triumph Street Triple. Its the only sound I've liked so far, thanks to YouTube's demos.

Does anyone have any recommendations or know people that can fit 'em cheap?
Quiet capable of having them fitted myself, having trouble finding someone that will sell for less than $1100.00 though.. know anyone?

    Direct from Two Brothers.

Two Brothers Racing :: Triumph Street Triple 675 Motorcycle Exhausts, Street Bike Parts, Aftermarket Motorcycle Accessories, Exhaust Pipe, Race Exhaust Systems, Sport Bike Parts

If you have a spanner set, you can fit these pipes. Or somebody like me will help for beer.

Ignore youtube vids as a sound check dude. The quality of sound is determined by how good the camera is, not the pipes.

    ^^^ He speaks the truth.

I heard one of these through the tunnel a few weeks ago with the carbon Two Bros pipes on it. Sounded good to me at the time.

I've had a mixed relationship with Two Bros products in the past, but I'd be willing to give it a second look in, given the lack of other options for our bike.

Seem to have found that the Carbon fiber finish deteriorates pretty quick
dont think it should be an issue on the non carbon pipes.

Just check first if they still expect you to repack them every 50 hours, or something retarded (that's 3000-5000km)
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

I'll give you a hand installing them if you like. I've done two pipe swaps and a full system on my street.

Emrys - mines a 2011 mod, needs dual slip on. Don't like the looks of those ones you linked me to.. But that's just my personal opinion
Also I didn't think about deterioration. Though, I have had a cagiva xtra raptor around the house for the past couple years and haven't seen any corrosion yet!

Xavier thanks for the offer but that's what my dads for! Haha

Roger Explosion - the demo street triple I rode had the two brothers on it, so I witnessed the sound first hand. Was a bit tooo loud but that can be fixed. The YouTube vids of arrow and povik pipes didn't even sound close enough! I like it loud and thumpy.

Barfridge - what do you mean 'repack them'?

Aren't Arrow normally the best/most common choice for Triumph gear?

the wifes is 2011 too I liked the litle gp pipe
I had just noticed that some carbon pipes seem to age fast they dont realy corrode as such but the resin seems to loos its shine after a while.

Think Barfridge means the fiberglass insulation needs to be replaced its quite common in aftermarket cans my acro used to need it when i ran out of fuel because it would backfire I wasnt so good at doing it. not to expensive to get some one else to do it for you and have it done properly.

repack = drill out the rivets, take the exhaust apart, restuff with either fibreglass or steel wool, put it all back together, redo the riveting.
It's a dirty, messy, time consuming and annoying job. Nobody else seems to recommend doing it as often as two brothers does. It's a major black mark against them from me, along with their build quality. Sure they look and sound good at first, but for how long will they last?

Arrow have been supplying the factory option pipes for some time, like Ducati and Termignoni or Suzuki and Yoshimura.

Not necessarily the best but they have optimised fuel maps for the arrow gear.

I saw and heard these on the JCS demo day.. a mate has the twin Arrow Slip-ons without baffles... the 2bros were not quite as loud, but were awesome in the tunnel... nice sound on overrun.

My main concern after reading a few posts on here would be the repacking. Neil from Proflow doesn't think it would be an issue with my Nanna riding style.. your mileage may differ.

They should be pretty easy to self install..

You can get some online (pm on way)

Wow. Kind of wishing I didn't create this post, it's really turned me off the two bros haha

There's no way of "try before you buy" is there?

What's the general consensus then guys? Give me options! Make my decision!

But Im also hella keen on the black series, or anything carbon fibre as it won't stand out as much as the current stockies. Any other options?
