Ok Guys and Girls,

Thanks to Mike and Brad at Causeway Yamaha, we have a Dainese deal.

If you go down and see either of these guys they will hook you up with any of the dainese products (back protectors) for 15% off.

You must say that you are part of the deal for Hewie so they know what the go is.

Now .. this is based on 4 - 5 ppl (no less) going down and grabing one off them.

(based on Maya, Mr John, Jack the Lad and Dugy)

If everyone could head down in the next couple of days (or on Saturday) and pick a size and style.

If you dont want whats on the wall ... ie a different model as long as its available in Aus. Brad will suss it for ya.

If you have any problems please PM me and ill try and sort it out.

I hope this is cool with everyone.

Cheers

Hewie

That's pretty cheap... well I'll be heading down to Causeway Yamaha later on in the week anyway, so I'll grab/order one while i'm down there.

Cheers Hewie.

Got mine today,

For those that are keen to have a look at their CE rating performance I scanned the info sheet that came with mine.

I got a BAP 2000/8.

Whilst the protector itself only conforms to CE level 1 (CE Level 1 - =< 18kN, CE Level 2 - =< 9kN) the unit itself is incredibly comfortable and is going to be a million times better than wearing nothing at all.

I can't see myself wearing it on a ride to the local shops, however it will get a good workout on the country runs and track days and as long as no one is throwing a 5kg cinder block at my back from 1m I think it's a great buy.

As far as 15% discount goes...i'm not too sure about that. Advertised price was $199 and I got it for about $150 so seems more like 25%! Awesome discount and a big thanks to the guys at Causeway Yamaha and to Hewie for organising it.

This EOI has obviously been a success, I went down there today to pick one up only to be told they've sold out - PSB snapped them up.
They're getting more in soon.
