I'd definitely be interested in a rear. Red plz

Maybe a front as well. Are the fronts as pictured and the headstock support type?

I THINK the RSV comes stock with stand spools, so I shoudl be fine without those

I'm definitely up for a rear stand. will go out and see if I have the necessary 'equipment' to use one of those front stands.......

Edit

Yep, after a quick look, and removing a ruber bung, definitely can use one. Do I need one though.......

Now I have to wash the underside of my bike <_< Do not look under there people

If you didn't get that, I'm a yes for the front & rear stand, Red.

Definately the rear is more important but if you can spare a few extra dollars then go the front as well.

cheers

Top stuff Tai.

Definitely interested if we can get the rear stand for $150 or under, and the spools for $20 or so.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Buy my stuff, everything now half price - http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/foru...woofer-144818/

Interested in a front, rear and bobbins. What I am most concerned about is the future proof of these stands. Will I be able to use them on future bikes with little to no hassles? From what I can see I wont be able to use these on a bike with a single sided swingarm???

Nope, SSSA (Single-sided Swingarm for the uninitiated) bikes require a totally different type of stand. Looking at the price list, these are also availlable, however, I'm not sure if they could be included as part of the group buy.

I've just had a quick look at my bike...
I don't have any obvious place to attach the pickups.
Do most bike come with holes predrilled? Or do I need to drill a hole in my swingarm?

Some bikes do, some don't.

I wouldn't go around drilling holes in your swingarm in any event.

You should still be able to use the stand as (hopefully) being a universal stand they should come with brackets that pick up using the swingarm rather than the spools.

EDIT: Please correct me if I'm wrong, Tai...

I'd be in for a front stand, but anywhere near 200 is a bit much for me. I dont care if its not painted/secondhand/whatever, but I'd only pay 100ish and I doubt thats going to happen in this group buy.

That being said, send me a PM when you get a price and I'll see how I'm doing with my cashage anyway

These rear stands are universial with extra brackets for those bikes that don't have the pickup bobbins. These brackets pickup from the swing arm so they can be used virtually for any motorcycle.

cheers

Hey if you can get a better deal on the boobins let us know. Like I was saying it all comes down to numbers at the end of the day. I would say we could probably get the bobbins for $26-$30 plus gst if the amount was sufficient.

Im keen for a black front stand hopefully a universal fit as I tend to werk on a few different machines intermittantly. Looking to spend around the $200 mark. All i know is that Rod Chapman imports sells them but havent looked into them any further than that.
