    Question EOI: ICE USB Tags/Card

    Now I know a few people have ICE (In Case of Emergency) put into their mobile phone, but I was browsing the the latest AMCN, and saw these cool little tags that are now available which are even more impressive.

    They are a USB comapatable Dogtag/Card which is used to contain all your emergency details in-case of an accident, including Name, any known medical history, allergies, blood-type etc. As can be seen they contain the ICE, and international Medical symbol on them for easy recognition.

    At RRP of $49.99 + handling, I thought that if the interest was there, I would make the enquiry to see if we could get these at a better price, or if all else fails, just pay less for shipping.

    I don't care if you think these are a good idea, bad idea or indifferent. If you are interested in one, post up your interest.

    Cheers

    Simmo

    def interested.

    Reason being, and not sure if this applies to everyone, but most people I know, including myself, keep a pin code lock on their phone.

    Its all well and good to have ICE in your phone, but if they can't get to it to inform your contact about *it*.

    They are the australian distributor:

    https://www.slipstreamperformance.co...952315f3d19b0f

    I just ordered mine from there. The postage is a bit dear though - $15.00 by express post and it only costs them $7.00 or less.

    do you really think an ambo is going to stop and pull out their laptop and check a USB stick, that could be blank/wrong/stolen/ etc etc etc.
