    EOI - icon gb

    Gday All

Im just curious to see if anyone would be interested in an Icon GB ?

I havent done any numbers on it ... but figured if there was enough interest we might be able to save a couple of bucks.

Anyway if your interested let me know and maybe post up what you would be keen on getting.

    Cheers

    Hewie
Some say he eats sidchrome for breakfast

Some say he only showers on even days of the week

Some say he put an R1 motor in a coffee machine

All we know is he's Hewie.

Does anyone know if any other manufacturers have the same glove sizes?
I know Icon helmets are the same size and fit as Shoei for those interested.

I'm definetely interested, need to replace my crashed jacket and get some decent gloves and boots for trackdayz, so at the very least i'll be in for a jacket, and more depending on funds.

im liking the look of the Black Icon Daytona leather jacket...would have to go and try it on somewhere first...

PSB - It doesn't matter how right you are. If you aren't in with the crowd who thinks they are the in crowd because they post a lot, then you are wrong.

    No gloves really are.
Just get yourself some latex AIDS gloves and put them on underneath your regular gloves for warm hands.

I've got a pair of Tecnic winter gloves that are warm, WATERPROOF ( as tested in 3 New Zealand winters ) and have a little "windscreen wiper blade" on the first finger on each hand to wipe you visor clear of water. It works a treat too.

    /derail, sorry.

Could be interested in another pair of Hooligan jeans, will have to have a bit of a squiz and see if theres anything else.

Edit: Looks like they dont have them anymore

So maybe a pair of Insulated Denim or Victory Jeans instead.

Just a note guys .... any helmets wont come with an ADR sticker. I wear one without .. its still the same lid as you get here .. just without the sticker. (There is a carve out in the law about non ADR lids being the same type as a high volume inport, But I cant remember where it is ATM)

    That's MA's rules.
It's the MCRC staff that will be checking the gear out.

    Quoting the MCRC.

Helmet - Full face, in good condition (no road rash) carrying an ASA “ASS1698” label.
Yes it's the regs for the tuning, first link that came up.
But everytime I've done a racecraft day the have looked for the sticker.
