Eoi: Psb Xmas Party 2008

PSB xmas parties are orsm fun.

It took a while before ppl realised to have a great night with their friends, meet some new ones and eat a belly full of food.

Tickets have been around $60 per person in previous yeaars and it has been held just off canning hwy in applecross (someone else can confirm the name) on a tuesday or wednesday night.

Everyone pays, there are no freebies, mods, admins, wives etc all pay.

Over the last couple of xmas parties we have had no problems selling the amount of tickets needed.

I personally have a concern that at that time of year a lot of ppl can't afford to outlay $60 per person for them and then possibly another $60 for a 'significant other'.

My proposal is that we open a cart in the PSB shop for PSB xmas party tickets.

At this stage we cant really confirm anything but there will be one.

$60 will not be a confirmed amount, if it turns out to be $60 then happy days, if it turns out to be $65 or $70 then you only have to come up with $5-$10 per head at that time of the year.

What we can say is if we have a cart open from now till the cut off date (in December) then as you get $60 free in your pocket you can secure a ticket and know you have one.

Then you dont have to worry about coming up with a large amount of coin at xmas time for the end of year party.

Poll will be open for a while, one option only.

Dubs, at this moment in time, money is rather tight, I would much prefer to be able to pay closer to the date, much easier.

Option 1, but it makes no difference to me, but I would like to have a solid date now or within the next month to help with the planning of other things, as we all know it is a busy time of the year and I like to have the option of doing as many things as possible, so set a date and stick to it

this is not currenty about the date, more about affording the party - so we can then set a date to stick to.

A date does need to be set yes, the sooner the better.

without a specific date it makes it a bit hard.

last year i couldn't go due to family commitments but it i had the option to buy a ticket early i wouldn't have thought twice about it.

The idea of being able to pay early is a good one still

EDIT: beat me to it Dubs

Dubs....there are quite a few flyin/out people on here, me included....so a date first would be beneficial. I am not going to start paying for an event I don`t even know I am in Perth for....
