    Edit:

    EOI Numbers......

    Just the 1 : 12
    2 Please : 12
    3 or more : 2

    OK..... The Next step......

We can get these for $185 EA. or for those that may require Credit Card facilities, $190 EA. This is through a local store in Kelmscott. You need to send a PM to Woodzzter to work out payment details (Direct transfer, or Credit Card etc). From past experience, it only takes 3-4 days to get in to the store once the order is made. You will also receive a tax receipt for it.

This is open for two weeks (Closing 15 June), with only two large purchases to be made by the store. One early on when people initially flurry to get the money to Woodzzter, and a second one once the financially lean people make there payments. Any questions, please post them up

    Cheers

Bugga, hit the wrong button on the poll.

Yes I would be interested in getting a couple of these units, depending upon the price. I think they retail around $250 each, but I have seen them on ebay occasionally for around $220. If we can get them for around that sort of figure I would be keen.

They are expensive but the reviews I have seen are very complimentary. Not sure they will be suitable for everyone on here as apparently it is quite difficult to hear over 130kph! I am not interested in the phone side of it, more the rider/pillion communication without having to remember to unplug all the time.

    I'm with Morgs ^^^

I'm vaguely interested, mainly from the POV of the rider/pillion and rider/rider communication rather than the mobile phone use.

the rider to rider communication with anyone within 150m is a good feature, i'm impressed.

Put me down as a hopefully/maybe/yes/depending on price.

edit: by teh way, in the poll i picked "1 for its phone capabilities" because thats the only poll option with 1 and I would only want 1.

You need to be a bit careful of the rider to rider communication. When I read up on it, the units have to be 'paired' and it is on a 1 to 1 basis i.e. you would not be able to talk to more than one other rider. There was some talk about them being updated to be able to communicate with more than one other bluetooth device but I think it was on the wishlist rather than a reality.

The good news is that they are now claiming up to 500 metres range, which means that your pillion has more time to swear at you after you dump them off the back!

Rider to Rider is a 1 to 1 connection ONLY. This is done by pairing the devices and is not something that can be done on the fly (ie: while riding). It is also only limited range.

The main use of these devices is for mobile phone use and for SHORT RANGE 1 to 1 intercom (ie: as someone above suggested rider to pillion)

I may be able to source these dependent on numbers. I imagine that $220 should be achievable, if not better (again dependent on numbers)

Please also note that this is the same EOI as listed on the perth riders site so if you have voted there then don't vote here
(I don't want to double up on numbers)

I realise this might already include a couple of you but hopefully we will not get too many double ups.

    They've changed the prices already.

Anyway, still cheaper than many other places I've seen.
