    GB: BST Rims

    Ok,

There has been some interest indicated in getting some BST Rims as a Group Buy.

Currently the Australian Distributor has offered a pretty good discount if we get more than two people.

Basically, he's said if they are paid for up front, a 10% discount can be applied and if we can get 2 orders or more, another 10% can be applied as well.

Please post interest only if you have the finances, and are interested in getting a set of rims within the next couple of weeks.

    cheers

peeps, if you want to make a very substantial change to the way
your bike performs/handles then this is it!!!

If i was to start all again with modding a Ducati (any bike really) the first would be the BST's!!

Looking at around 3840 for the set, Rich.

I'm waiting on confirmation that he's happy with that.

Aussie distributor lists them at $4799 for a set, if you were wondering about the regular price.

With all due respect, don't listen to 'friends'. Unless they've actually owned a set, used them, stressed them to breaking point or ridden them to the limits of race/endurance, who are they to comment? Too much BS in this world from people wanting to throw in the 2c.

Check the website for all the certifications they pass and their manufacturing accreditation.

Mine have been on for 4 years, a mate of mine has had his for 8! No damage, cracks, delamination. No loss of tyre pressure. You already know the benefits are massive, and that price is awesome. Dudes, make it happen, you wont regret it.

If you want to see a set give me a yell. I've had mine on for a year and without a doubt it was the best mod I have done. As for the "friends advice" like Hornet says - Ignore it. I ride fairly hard and haven't had any problems with the "flex" on the rims. As for the whole "shattering when you hit a pothole" theory - Bullshit IMHO. I've hit a couple of holes with no damage, I have done a lot of k's on them (high speed runs, wheelies, etc - all on private roads of course) and they are like new.
If you have the coin then do yaself a favour - You won't regret it.
