GB: Bursig Stands

After some feedback, we are opening an EOI for the Bursig Race Stand.

Effectively we would be looking at a lower cost, as well as savings associated with shipping to a single location.

If you are interested, please be aware we are looking to order these at the end of June, so I'd suggest allowing slightly more than $650 total cost at the moment, prior to actual price confirmation based on numbers.

This expression of interest will close in 3 weeks prior to confirming final prices. Once final price is confirmed, we will allow 2 weeks to collect the money prior to ordering. In speaking to IMS, arrival of the stands could be anything from 2-8 weeks after ordering, due to models either being in stock or having to be shipped in.

Can you confirm there is some parts that stay on the bike for this to work. If so 2 of these bits one for each bike.

I'd be extremely doubtful we can get them for less than $500, so I'm not going to include you in the group buy numbers at the moment.

Perhaps you could get the supplier to give you indicative pricing for a GB with 5, 10, 20 people and try and gather intrest that way?

Cheers for the suggestion...... I might never have thought of that. However I'm not going to yank a suppliers chain about the potential number of people involved, as that is a waste of their time and my own. If you can't committ to the $650, as far as I'm concerned, your unable to be involved in the group buy.

My understanding is that when you order one, it comes with the stand and an interface for the bike model you specify.

If you want it for different bikes, order a different adapter (part).

So, I think you could buy one, and 4 adapters to suit more than one bike...

Of course, I could be wrong.

hey Tim, theres a company in the States that sell (pretty much) an exact copy of the Bursig for $450 US (including the castor kit). It was on ducati-superbikes.com today, but I cant remember who made it & I'm having trouble finding the post.

Reading this and with Tims comment "What Rhino said is incouraging.
My work filters will not alow me to open the site
I will have a look next week when home and make a decision.

Just have to run the figers for the models I have.

Sorry didn't see the price in the original post. + wheels puts it $700 ballpark. To much for me to justify for a toy when the stands do the job pretty well. Awesome kit though.
