Well, given the numbers, and slowing down of responses, I contacted Bike-Gizmo today.

After a little discussion, he finally gave us a total price of $48.40 per kit. Lateral Brush Replacement Kit is $4.40. Complete Brush Replacement Kit is $11.00

Postage is to be confirmed upon numbers confirmation. Below is the individuals who expressed interest. Can all who want to confirm their inclusion on this group buy please send me a PM. This way I will be able to respond with bank account details for DD.

For the replacement brushes, please let me know whether you just want replacement lateral brushes (those that require to be trimmed for your chain size), or the complete brush set.

Confirmation and DD will be required by next Friday, to ensure that this goes forward

Apologies for the minor delay on replacement Brush Prices.

Bike-Gizmo will be getting back to me tomorrow with these prices.

For those that haven't already, plase send me a pm confirming your participation, and if you want some replacement brushes, either indicat whether it is to be the just the laterals(those you trim for your chain size), or the complete set.

Replacment Brushes

Reports from Bike-Gizmo state that you should get over 1000 uses out of a complete set of brushes before you need to replace them (mechanics are using these 2+ times a day and only replace the brushes every 1.5-2 years).

Given that you should only have to clean your chain every 300+ km, this means you should be able to travel over 300 000km before requiring to replace the brushes.

Bike-Gizmo suggests that most people may only require replacement lateral brushes, and only then if they have multiple bikes with different chain sizes (520, 530, trail bikes) ..........

Just want people to potentially save the money if they can,

Ok, I have the prices for the Brushes.

Complete Brush Replacement set - $11.00 These are to be sold for $16.50 outside the group buy

Lateral Brush Replacement Set - $4.40 These are being sold for $8.16 outside the group buy

As soon as I receive a pm from all outstanding people (new people are still more than welcome to be a part of this), I will close the Confirmation numbers, get a postage cost from Bike-Gizmo, and then send everyone a pm with their individual cost and details.

At this stage Bike-Gizmo only has 36 kits in-stock, so to save on postage there may be a minor delay in delivery to us until he gets them all in.
