I have managed to arrange a group buy for HEL braided lines (3 line kit consisting 2 front lines and a rear line)

    Here is the deal:

If I receive 10 or more paid Orders for HEL 3 Line Kits (Your choice of Line & Fitting colours) I can do them for $175 delivered for forum members.

Note: These are from the Australian HEL distributor and have ADR (not like the imported HEL lines)

This offer is good until the 14th September 2007.

Orders to be made via www.superbikesupply.com.au You must mention that you are a forum member and mention HEL Group Buy in the order comments to receive this deal.

Payments can be made by EFT or PayPal to sales@superbikesupply.com.au (Note: 2.5% fee Applies to PayPal = $179.37). EFT details will be provided in the order.

    Regards,
    Tim

Question: Is there a kit available for VFR400 NC30?
2nd question: can I get a rear line with removable banjo's?

    Mockery,
Yes, the lines are available for the 89-95 VFR400 NC30
All the banjo's are removable with a spanner - Not sure what you mean by that.

    Semi,
I do have the 2 front line kits discounted online at www.superbikesupply.com.au for $149.95 + $5 delivery, however the 3 line kit for $175 delivered is a very good deal for only $20.05 more.

A technical question.... What will happen if you don't get the minimum of 10. Do people get a refund, or are they expected to pay for the additional cost?

I have no doubt that we will exceed 10. Any orders placed prior to the 14th September 2007 will be honoured at $175 delivered.

I was under the impression that to meet adr requirements (DOT approved) they simply had to be steathed lines, wants the exact different between these ones and the ones you can get from international sellers if you dont mind me asking?

Okay, so if I remove the banjo the maximum width is just the nut at the end?
I was under the impression that most of these lines came with the banjo's swaged in, and in some cases they could still be rotated on the line, like this.
It's kind of hard to tell with the tiny pics available for HEL lines.

I want to feed my rear line thru as small a hole as possible, therefore I just needed to be sure I can remove the banjo.
(sure you can guess the ultimate aim...)

Yes - Pay only $175 delivered.

Don&#39;t forget to let me know in the SBS order comments what colour line and fittings you want

This is not a bad price really. I know that HEL have raised their prices since our last group buy. However...
Note: These are from the Australian HEL distributor and have ADR (not like the imported HEL lines)[/b]
I think you should get your facts right so you don&#39;t tell people the wrong information. Otherwise it just seems like dodgy marketing (I&#39;m not saying thats what you are doing by the way.)

The last group buy we had for HEL lines were all direct from the UK, and there is no problems with their compliance. As seen below.

    http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/forum/inde...=HEL+group+buy#

    from the group buy thread

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE
    Hello guys,

I hope you don&#39;t mind me sticking my oar in, but Troy mentioned that I may be able to help you guys out, so I thought I would join the Forum and make myself known!

I have just spoken to Simon Lane (the MD of HEL Performance here in the UK) on the phone, and he tells me that the ADR approval has been rescinded, and that now, so long as the lines match one or more other world-wide recognised type approvals such as DOT or ISOxxxx etc., then they are considered suitable for ADR approval too.

Simon says that he is happy to include a letter of confirmation with the delivery to state compliance to all their current approvals, and also to supply rubber caps for the fittings where/if still required.....[/b]

    hope this helps.

different lengths, different fittings on the end of the lines. some bike models may be compatible, but you can&#39;t just say "ill take 3 thanks!"

edit: this is a pretty good deal guys. I got a good deal at $200 to my door for a 3 lines kit with stainless fittings, this is even better. for reference, last bike store i asked about braided lines said "uhh, yeaaah. for the cheaper fittings.. and a two line kit, you&#39;re looking at about $460". If you&#39;ve got the coin, snap a kit up.

The HEL lines are available for the 90-99 CBR250RR MC22, just pick any Honda bike on the SBS online list and correct the bike model in the comments section (I will then order the correct lines) - Don&#39;t forget to let me know the line and fitting colours that you want.

    Tim
