    I will be taking mine to the beach soon to see how it goes there and will report back, you may have been better off with something like this;

    A bargain at this price.

    This is what we used on a hire bike once also, is a bit bulky for a bike but worked quite well in spite of the vibration we picked up due to having to mount it on an engine crash bar with limited set up time, it was picking up on the engine revs, told him to back off and ride lower in the rev range but he told me to get f**ked. Needed a frame rail or front fork. Never got to refine the mounting as it was not mine and when we switched it to another bracket on the bike the bracket eventually came off and the cam took a fall at $1.40, still works but aint water proof and lost its mount point. There is a picture of it mounted early in the video (0:54). It is water, sleet and snow proof as seen at 7:00 minutes in.

    Tim, wonder if you'd be keen to organise some accessories as a group buy EOI?

    I would be looking at getting a few more batteries, a pile of sticky mounts, lens replacements, and a replacement housing.
    Aussie retailers seem to inflate the price a fair bit, but if they can do us a deal to reduce that $ gap, would rather buy here
