Alot of people dont know that USA has alot more options compared to AUS. We only really have Normal, Express, in regards to timeframes.
USA has
Sea (3-4 weeks)
Airmail First Class (2 to 3 weeks)
Priority (6 working days)
Express (4 working days)
Express Priority (2 working days)
Price between Airmail First Class and Priority is only about 20% so ya =)

PSB is teh win!
awesome stuff uglykent![]()

Actually the reason a lot haven't been sent out, is the supplier has been broken into three times in the last two weeks, and had a lot of their stock taken. They are currently going outside of their normal supply route to get these sourced for us at additional cost to themselves........
Suck-it up, stop your whinging at getting stuff 25% cheaper than if you had bought it locally, and I'll say it again. QUIT YOUR WHINGING.
Malenko, I've bought stuff from the US that was supposed to take 10 days. Even with a tracking number, it took four months. Be grateful you got the discount.

Its cool Tim, I just antsy cos of my tripgood work on the buy
Hi Tim, Maybe the dealer is having a piss down our legs, and saying it,s rain....
If anyone gets some good footage please post it up, be good to see. I would love to get one if these, wish i had joined the group buy.
Be wary of using it at night/dark. Popped it on ze bike last night on my way home and any light source turns out funky, though it might just have been due to the way it was positioned behind the windscreen of the bike.
Works quite well in the day though, had it on the bike this morning for the journey to work. Will try some different settings tonight to see how it goes (and give the windscreen a clean, see if that helps). Might also pop it on the windscreen to see if that is interfearing with the light sources at night.
Sound is pretty good with the sealed back plate. Bit quiet, but then that's what you expect, but no wind noise at all (well, only tested <120kph so far, will see what happens on a country run). Will try out the open back plate tonight as well, see how the sound quality compares.
Yes they done work in poor light, here are a couple of my test videos

Hi dennisb, the dealer is a local (perth) supplier, knows that the deal is being done for PSB, and has been monitoring this thread. Thank you for fucking up another potential supplier for PSB!!!!!
As someone who has purely come on PSB, and only been involved for Group Buys, your last post means that your no longer welcome to be involved in such deals in the future. Good luck in any of your other endevours.

Nope, not just my windscreen. It seems there is a disproportionate redness to everything when it gets dark, and a lack of illumination from ambient sources.
In contrast to uglykent, I get best results when I mount the camera on the fuel tank behind the screen, as my screen vibrates something shocking, so if I mount it on the screen, not only does the picture vibrate, but you get an annoying buzzing sound as well. If my screen wasn't so dirty/scratched, then it would look mint from the fuel tank. Hmmm... I need a new screen anyway, as the lip cuts of my view of my indicator lights...
Sound is more representative on the tank as well, especially with the open backing plate. Heading through the tunnel in a low gear sounds just ason the video as it does as you are doing it. Bit of wind noise creeps in with the open backing plate even at lowish speeds when mounted on the windscreen, but I got none when it was on the tank.
Also poor performance at Dawn and dusk, anything where there is light focusing on the lens (sun, oncoming car lights, reflections) seems to kill it. Still a couple of settings to try out, but IMHO, something for 10am - 3pm work, maybe a bit outside that depending on which direction you are going relative to the sun. If I can figure out how to put things on the intertubes, might make a quick video of differing conditions, backing plates and mounting positions.
Oh, and battery use and card use are pretty accurate to what's said on their site, bit over 2.5 hours 'till battery empty from full charge, and 1 gig for 12 and a bit minutes of full HD video. No skips at all with a class 6 card so far, so all good there as well.

You may find that light at a particular angle on your scratched screen is actually reflecting it into the video camera off the edge of the scratches, so providing an overkill on the sensor cells of the camera..... Based on the footage I've seen from these camera's, you shouldn't be having that much of a problem with some direct light.

Hi Tim. I am sorry you feel that way. It is not correct that I am here only for the group buys. Quite frankly, I prefer to shop for myself, but feel involvement is a good thing. I did say "Maybe" and it was not an attack on anyone.
I am a patient guy and understand the logistics involved. Please don,t take this the wrong way, but, if you had posted the reason for the delay earlier on, I,m sure most folk would understand and accept. As for the dealer/supplier, I don,t think they will have sleepless nights regarding my post.
I don,t understand why you wish me luck in my"other endeavours"......I don,t have any., especially here, I think.
Anyways, thanks for arranging these last two buys of mine.
How have the cameras been delivered? is the postman stuffing them into your letterbox or did you get a little slip saying that you have a parcel at the post office to pickup. Looking forward to the arrival.
Don't waste your face!
