    The items needed .

    3x Vortex footpegs in black
1x XT Racing lap timer kit

A call was placed on tuesday the 9th of may, and in that call i spoke with the person who handles the international orders for kneedragers. I mentioned twice that i have a event i need to participate in on the weekend of the 20-21st of may, leaving me 10 days to get this order to me. He assured me it wouldnt take more than 6 working days, and that USPS Global Express could have my parts to me for $50usd. Done deal. He said that they would lookout for my order as it came in, so with that, i hung up the fone and placed the order that working day at kneedrager.

I mentioned that if ANYTHING was delayed to e-mail me asap, and advise me of any issues. Understood. I mentioned that i would call on monday the 15th of may, to confirm its all left and so on, and i even sent them this following mail .....

    ---paste---
Just a reminder, if this order maybe sped up please as per conversation with ____.

I have a race event on the 21st of may and I need the parts prior to this event.

    Thank you.

    Ivan

    ---end---

So on the 15th i call them up and ....

    Get cut off once.
Get then put on hold when i called back, for over 15mins, so i hang up.
I call back again, and get transfered to a line that just rings out, so i hang up.
I call back AGAIN and finally get the person i need to speak with after 8 mins on hold.

Were talking long distance calls from Perth to USA, but thats the least of my issues.

I speak to the person who i need to speak with, and i get the following ...

KD : "We dont have the pegs in stock, sorry, cant help you there....... "
Me : "What you mean ? ..... i told you i need them, you said you would mail me, and now im without parts when i could have purchased them elsewhere?"
KD : "They are on a 2 week backorder, cant help you till then"

The conversation went on, i wanted to see if they would rectify the situation i was now dumped in , as im now allmost out of time. No interest. The whole 'Aust ... who ?' mentality kicked in , and who cares.

So in sheer rage i call Vortex. They have hundreds in stock on the shelf, no hass, how many do i need?. At this point the guy at Vortex is helpful and offers to ship them out to me , but its doubtful they will get here. Good customer serv on his part, i appreaciated that.

So i email kneedrages back in pure rage with the following ...

    ---paste---

    Please cancel this order.

I am very dissapointed at the service of your company, after ordering the parts last week , being told they would ship , and not being contacted (hence there isnt a problem) , I now made 4 long distance calls form Australia, waited about 25 mins in total on hold, was cut off once , to only be told that there is a 2 week back order for the parts I need, when I SPECIFICALLY mentioned I am racing this weekend on the 21st (when I ordered the parts on the 9th mind you) and needed the timer and the rear set pegs. I was told that it wont be a problem, and that they will look out for my mail as I place the order and get the ball rolling quickly .

On wed the 10th I replied to the original message from kneedragers with this ....

    -------------
Just a reminder, if this order maybe sped up please as per conversation with ___.

    No reply.

As I finished the conversation now of waiting "2 weeks for pegs on backorder", I called Vortex, and sure enough they have them in stock, on the shelf. I shall be sure to spread my great exp with kneedragers over the handful of international forums I visit and own / moderate.

Ironically the second reason I called was to order a few more parts of much greater value to be shipped at a less important , slower pace, but this past hour really didn’t give me that option.

    Ivan

    ---end---

Over a day later i get this in my inbox

    ---paste---

Your order has been cancelled. Thank you for the email.

    ---end---

No interest at all, no sig who its from, no explanation - nada. So from now on, i shall use knuckledragers website as a online catalogue to surf for items ill purchase elsewhere.

    Expirience :

    Rating : 1 out of 10 (i gave them a 1 cause they atleast have a website)

my first international purchase was with kneedraggers, 3 weeks later i get said items, just thought this was the norm (and it wasnt cheap the stuff i got either).

then my next international order from the uk place order on the monday, thursday afternoon they are here, quite supprised i was.

next was a scorpio alarm (which i am very pleased with btw) ordered thursday here the following tuesday.

so long story short kneedraggers are a pain in the butt who dont allow online credit card purchases, so personally im sticking with ebay shops (gotta be careful though).
