We are a full dynojet tuning centre with tuning link so we will be doing it all ,we can tune with or with out PC 3 but you will get better results with the PC 3 ,we will also tune all other power commander products .

    We are the only Dynojet Centre for Perth that will do all Jap and Euro bikes and the the odd Harley if we have to(after hours under the cover of night so we dont get caught with shit in the workshop.)There are two other Dynojet units in Perth but only available for Knuckle Dragging Harley owners HaHaHa(Frasers and Super Cycles)

    How do you guys feel about leasing dyno to use (supervised to start with if you so wish?) as in walk in , tune, pay you guys ?.

    I have some customer jobs on specific ECU's that i would like base tunes done on, interested or not ?.

    We do it in the car game often, but bike people are a bit different.

    just out of curosity probaly will do in the nearish future but how much would you charge for a dyno tune (custom map on power commander) plus balance butterflys, valve check/adjustment (shims on mine i think) and new plugs?

    BTW this would be for a zx12r

    No sorry Saf we wont be looking at that at all ,Russ lets people lease his I think.I have invested to much to let other people use it dont want to sound like a prick but ive got keep it all in house.(would you lease ya mum out, supervised to start with of course ?)I am prepared to run your base reading and then after your "tune" reading at an agreed price.Cheers Aaron

    For a full service oil etc plugs valve clearances is 550 plus 20 for each shim required to get correct clearances req, this also includes butterfly /throttle balance. For mapping it will run at from 150 upwards depending on what is req and what has been done to your bike.Cheers Aaron

    If its just to run in an engine maybe 1 to 2 hrs about 150 to 300 tops.

    No need to get all sideways over it, i dont really see how that analogy says anything with the topic at hand (nor do i find it amusing). The way i saw it you could have learnt something along the way with Autronic / Haltech / Motech (even simple tricks in DJ mapping) etc.

    FWIW, Ive been working dynos for quite a number of years now, tuning for a living and making niche parts. No hass.

    Hey Saf, what's the go with tuning carby bikes? Dyno, then balance carbs, then dyno again and fiddle with mixtures to assess any gains? I'd figure not much else could be done (excluding jetting)

    Hey not getting sideways Saf just saying that I wouldnt look at hiring the machine out to other people to use ,but like i said will look at helping you set up what you require, and yeah it could be something else to learn and thats what its all about come and see me and we can talk like I said on a agreed price .With that analogy sorry if it upset you was only putting in context how important and how much of an investment and dream of mine to finally buy this dyno and it set up ,so I can do my own research and development and expand on ideas ive been tring to prove work ,no offence intended at all .Cheers Aaron

    Hey Aaron;

    If you've got the tuning link, will you only look at power commanders? I've been considering a tuneboy (www.tuneboy.com.au) cable, which has a tuning link emulation mode using the standard sagem ecu in the trumpy. From previous posts it appears getting someone in Perth to dyno using it is tricky though...
