By any means : Sydney to Tokyo is on SBS One now. Charlie Boorman is the host. First vehicle was a Douc...sorry i mean Dues W650. Must admit, looks and sounds pretty cool. He had about 500 people turn up in Manly for the first leg of the trip, including Wayne Gardner.

He's improved race to Dakar annoyed me no end. By any means he's stopped whining and started talking about whats going on and what he's looking forward to puts a whole new light on his shows.

I agree with Ellen god i hate the sound and sight of that thing Charley is a bit irritating but its not fair to put him in her basket least hes done some interesting shit what has she done other than annoy the piss out of people.

I agree with Ellen. I wish i could be famous for dressing like a bloke, munching rug and being annoying. It would be sweet and i wouldnt have to change.

Should see Charlie Boorman in Extreme Frontiers: Canada. Everything makes him "very emotional" and the waterworks flow again. I like the shows he (and Ewan McGregor) do, but shit they could have found someone less annoying.

Love the Long Way around/down shows, but Charlie always has that glint of 'Brokeback' in his eye when Ewan starts setting up his tent.

I enjoyed the book, but you don't have to watch or listen to him (not that he bothers me that much). If I recall correctly things get rather interesting when they hit PNG.
