hey chance, I see your missus is going deckie...

What a co-incidence.. mine offered the same ( after my current deckie capsized us 5 times through poor deck position and managed to do it right under the channel 7 chopper )..

We should meet to compare notes..

pjay, that boat from 176 might be our rig..

Are you wanting to run a motor or go up front ?

I'm seriously looking for a deckie for 2010 - have everything.. literally.. you just need a helmet, wetsuit, lifejacket ( which I have if you're an XL ), booties and gloves..

    If you're upto - and around 80-90 kilo's - then i might have a ride for you..

PM me, and i'll hook up a time.. I'm planning on doing the january races, and I've been working on the boat over the last few days..

Plus the white wash gets messy and it's easy for a paddler to be trapped underneath. It all depends on water levels.

Didnt know you know Coatsy, I was his support crew a few years back when he raced with Adrian. The the bug bit me and got my own boats now.

When are you starting practise Chris? Im keen to come down to "compare notes" no fonzy

i was kinda hoping to get my own for something to do on and off the water. me and my mate were gonna alternate going deckie and skipper. We're going to be a seriously light boat, i'm only 60 myself, he's about the same. nah, going by the pic i have of it and your dp, dont think it is its flatter up on the bow. cheers for a quick, let alone a reply at all

I'm ready to roll, and reece and his decky ( McIver Racing ) are up for a bit of a play run.. if yanno what i mean

Really, my boat can go in the water right now - I've got a huge box of prop's and the boat's ready to go.. ( just for my own piece of mind, I'd like to paint it.. but it's gonna float )

Anytime you want mate, I'd love to put it out in the water.. and get some speed testing on the go.. ( no fonzy either )

I'd appreciate the time in the water to get my turning practice ( at speed ) refined.. and I'm gonna need a 'counter weight' to practice getting it up on the plane..

every boat is different bro, the width too - depends on the crew..

I'm running one of the ' homer boats ' - also known as a u-cart concrete boat... it's quick, and far more than what I'm really capable of at the moment - but i'm growing into it.. aparently it's quite a short boat.. but she fair fly's
