Im not defending the guy at all (insert "do the crime, do the time" type comment here), but before anyone jumps to any conclusions about how much he might have had on him, does anyone know what amount is required for it to be classed as "Sell and Supply"?

I dont know anymore, but I dont think its very much... a couple years back from memory, only 1 or 2 g's.
If it is a relatively low amount, given how much he may need or use, then who says it isnt for personal use?

Back a couple years ago, if someone got caught with 20 X pills, that was classed as "trafficking"!
Given how our nanny state seems to be moving, id guess that number might have even come down by now...

If someone is into the party scene and uses regularly, they might smack 20 down in a good night / weekend. That doesnt make them a "trafficker" now does it... Even if they arent keeping them all to themselves, your hardly making a living off it, or your friends chipping in a couple bucks to lower the unit price together.

Whether we like it or not, some people take them and like most things, the drug game follows an economic model. You buy more, you pay less per unit price...

Having said that, he's had waaaay more chances than the average weekend punter and Cousins seems like he just cant take a trick at the moment!

Your source for this information? I happen to work with an ex-Magellan Metals environmental staff member and data collected verified there was a fairly decent risk to environmental and human health. The bird data was not that reliable as the birds were not preserved as well as they should have been and thus, data was not that conclusive.

In some respects, Yeah!
Alot of weed, & often other drugs come across the border to norseman then half goes 2hrs north to Kal, the rest goes 2hrs south to us.i personally had done pretty much everything bar Cocaine, heroin & PCP! I defiantly could have gotten it all too, just personally chose not to.

FORMER footballer Ben Cousins has been arrested on drug charges after arriving at Esperance Airport last night.

Cousins was arrested at 7.15pm at the airport by waiting police and was released on bail.

Police say he breached his bail conditions and is currently in police custody in Esperance.

The recovering drug addict had been attending a drug rehabilitation centre in the region, Teen Challenge, for the past month but was seen in Perth on the weekend with his young baby Bobby Ernest and partner Maylea Tinecheff .

Police have charged him with possession of methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply.

Cousins, 33, will appear in the Kalgoorlie Magistrate's Court on Monday April 2 via video link.

Teen Challenge director Malcolm Smith refused to comment.

I can't believe that this headed all the major news stations tonight. I'm sure the fire that was deliberately lit (sorry, suspicious) fire that was burning close to homes and schools etc would of been more of a priority to the local people of Perth.
