I live in Morley, are there any places nearby where i can get relatively cheap kegs? Or is there somewhere cheap thats not nearby? I'll travel quite far if the price is right!

ubrewit in these locations: Locations : U-Brew it - Brew on Premise in AUSTRALIA - introducing AUSTRALIA'S first MICRO-CANNING system... pretty good, but u have to go in and brew it 3 weeks previously... fairly cheap for a keg though...
because u do most of the work urself its cheap. - ring for quotes ~100-120 i think.
and then
Billabong Brewery has the same kind of deals.

I used to arrange uni parties and camps, we got all our booze through U Brew It. Excellent ot deal with, I think that it will be setting you back a bit more nowadays though, last year I think we paid about $130 per keg but that included all the paraphernalia that came with it.
SO with the three weeks brew time, you can just go in one day and pick it up 3 weeks later? Cos im fifo in the mines so wont always be in town
im the same as lefty. except we used/use byo microbrewery.
yeh go in one day and brew it all.
leave for three weeks
then go sort out if u want it kegged or bottled (supply own bottles - so start saving) in 3 weeks time and there you have it.
easy as.
I think lefty was right about the price. perhaps check billabong brewery, i remember some mates quoting below 130.
hmm interesting. thats not a bad price at all. But if i cant get around to brewing one and need to buy one on the spot, where could i get one in that case. Im arranging this for 14th of feb so thats going to be less than three weeks by the time i get back to perth
a Keg for valentines day, how romantic hahaha

'Prowl'
Heineken 5 lt. kegs!!
Walk in pay da $$ walk out and drink it.
Tizz propper beer as well with NO preservatives so no headaches!
5ltr a bit small for my gathering haha i'd need to buy 10 of them! THats quite costly haha
We didn't go in and brew them, we just rang up, placed orders out of their catalogue of 30 or so imitation beers and collected them (from memory we got 6) a few weeks later.
PM me if you're interested in this and I'll call the bloke we go through at uni to get more details from him. If memory serves we've put something like 70 kegs through U Brew It across 3 fac socs in 5 years under the same name. He gets a pretty hefty discount now.
I do the bottling down at Rockingham U brew. Corona brew or the sweet ciders are nice on the palate atm.
