Now a Pom in Perthwith a DB7

What style do you want ?
Some say he eats sidchrome for breakfast
Some say he only showers on even days of the week
Some say he put an R1 motor in a coffee machine
All we know is he's Hewie.
And whats your current location?
I know of some good to average locations down near rockingham/Kwinana but for some one in cervantes thats not gonna help...

anywhere with a bit of distance to the next point in the background, so it has that out of focus look. It then draws your eyes to the things which are in focus... i.e. the bike.
You can do it with the lens (very shallow depth of field), or you can do it with the set-up.....
Use what you have available to get the desired effect......

I had plenty of time to rub one out in space which was great but after awhile it was like living in a snowglobe - Peter Griffin
I seen quite a few people take photos at the back of the industry near office road.
At night it lights up and the stainless steel tanks look great as a back drop. Its around the back and you can park outside the fince about 15m from the machinery.
If you time it right there is one section that lets out a fair bit of steam/mist... Looks Cool.
Bikes are great for sneaking into secluded parts of cliffs etc. Seen some people around point Peron, near the navy base bridge.
Really depends on what you want.
Off road ares, forest, cliffs/hills, under bridges, paddocks.
There is one nice S bend of a road that comes off mundijong that I would like to do a couple runs with film and perhaps a camera. open paddock, nice ling smoth sbend.

chasing urban scenes atm
Urban as in grungy back alley in northbridge or sky scraper scene of perth from Kings park?

Try the bell tower, near the base. Ride (or wheel) your bike up the ramp to the water feature and you can get some nice shots there.

Freo has some nice old buildings that date back quite a way. You can frame your bike nicely with some of them in the background.

Amen, brother. Amen.
