Boycott The Windsor!!!
To set the scene:
Its 7:40pm on a balmy, hot Thursday night and I've just pulled into the carpark at the pub that my mate has chosen to have a few birthday bevvies at. I havn't been to this place in almost 6 months, and notice as I pull in that there are these big shiny new "Ticket Parking Only" signs on the driveway. "No worries", I thought, "I'm here now, only be a couple of hours, I'll pay their peppercorn carpark rent". As I get out of the car I notice a couple of wizened old men in blue polo shirts and navy hard yakka pants wandering around furiously tapping into their little pda devices behind cars. Obviously "Parking Enforcement Officers", I briefly take the time to reflect on how they must truly have a much shittier job then mine.
I grab some change from the ashtray, wander over to the ticket machine and buy my ticket. As I place my ticket back on the dash of my car I notice one of this browbeaten members of society has moved up behind my car, and is tapping away. I think of making some casual throwaway remark to him about his job but on second look decided he doesn't need any more grief in his life, as by the manner in which he is hunched over those shoulders already carry plenty. I lock the car after placing the ticket dead centre on the dash and walk inside thinking they must be recording all registrations plates on the cars in the car park for some reason or another.
Inside I catch up with my friends, buy the birthday boy a bevvy or two, when about an hour later some other friends walk in. "Hey, do you know you have a parking ticket on your car?" "You've got to be effing kidding me!" Is my quite natural and spontanous reaction to this news. I storm outside with the bearer of said bad news to find the following pieces of paper. I have since highlighted the important bits, and leave the picture to tell the remaining story:
If a venue chooses to charge for something I can get for free elsewhere, and then have the umbrance to inconvenience me with a giant stuffup as above, they no longer deserve my patronage.
BOYCOTT THE WINDSOR! DONT SUPPORT FACISTS!!!
SIDENOTE 1: The employees at the windsor told me that even tho they have quite prominent Bright Yellow "Windsor Staff Vehicle" Stickers in their windscreens they still get fines.
SIDENOTE 2: Those who came on bikes were told to "Not park on the curb" in front of the wall at the front bar by the new security firm (not our friendly crew). Hmm.
SIDENOTE 3: Yes, I know its a private issued, non enforcable fine, hence why im not too fussed about not paying. I will be making the Private Company(ies?) responsible for this piece of facism know about their ways with great pleasure

What you get for drinking in a pretentious area such as South Perth should have gone to waki in Rocko, nobody have the balls to hand out tickets there
But that is fucking stupid, I'd demand a formally apology from the ticketing officer and from the dept for your time and there obvious short falls as souless low level human beings.
oh and please please do email them that picture

I was the aforementioned asshat, erm I mean friend, who pointed this out to Dingo. The Windsor staff were actually pretty good about it, considering. But they are still souless cuntshovels for leasing out their carpark to the grand evil that is Wilsons parking.

we used to use a fax program from the computer to do this. Some numb nuts had his browser on auto refresh and faxed forms to a client 40 odd times with another 60 in the queue before the client complained that he was almost out of toner

Pack of Khunce. Both the windsor and wilsons.
The windsor has already isolated one regular breed of customer. Twould appear they have just isolated another.

I have no reason to go there anymore anyway. Although since a certain staff member 'left' I no longer had a reason to avoid it either... Guess now I got new reason!
I'm not paying for parking at a pub. No way. I'm paying enough for my meal and/or drinks. It's their carpark - it should be free to patrons.

Wilson Parking = the devil. My bf a while ago got screwed over by Wilsons. He parked in a Wilsons area and the ticket machine was broken so he went over the road to use another Wilson parking machine to purchase a ticket (knowing they probably woudln't accept faulty machine as an excuse). He still gets a parking fine for using the wrong ticket as it was not from that carpark's machine. He called and wrote letters and everything and they wouldn't let him off the fine and in the end he had to pay it! Rather uncool and now we avoid Wilsons as much as humanly possible (although since they are everywhere at times this can be tricky).

You give 'em what for Dingo!! Stupid Bastards
This is why I love my "local" the Scotsman - no pay parking at night thanks to the carparks next to Fresh Prov. and behind the IGA, others in the vicinity and there are M/C bays right outside the front door
Been like 10 years since I made it to the Windsor....and now I'll know to keep away for longer!

It's a stupid error what happened to you Dingo, however the thought of a Pub charging for car parking is incomprehensible.
