I've been listening to Difm breaks recently, and although quite good, it's fairly cheesy.
Anybody got any suggestions/recommendations for some really good breaks. Nothing too stomping, but intelligent, bouncy sorta music.

I am a bit of a breaks fan. Some of the guys I am are fan of are:

Lee Coombs
Scatch Perverts
Krafty Kuts
Evil Nine
Nu Breed.

All of these guys have done essential mixes and JJJ mixes.

Worth a look I recon.

Cheers

For something a little left field D&B try Peshay. Bit of a Jazzy bent on the whole thing.

Could also try twisted individual....

The others mentioned are ok too.

do you have y3k deep progressive breaks? all the tracks are good to listen too, a couple of tracks that stand out for me:

Hybrid, Groovology
M Tisse, Sousound (Freq nasty vs blim edit)
BT Hybrid, Running down the way up

check out this website for searching for new artists to listen to who are musiclaly similar to what you like:

http://www.pandora.com/

not only does it identify what you like, but creates a 'radio station' playlist of songs for you to listen to. You might be surprised at the depth of its data base.
