Fight the power.
That actually sounds like a wicked Sunday.

You talk about domination, but have you ever caress her spine with your fingertips, Bedded her for the night, or gotten lost in her beauty?
We hired a park on australia day long weekend, up lansdale.
BBQ + Beers no grief, think it was $120 or something.

Well I'm sure I can borrow some of our club gear and we can organise it for a Sunday
edit: ok i'll start a new thread before we get told to![]()

Well, I've got to say I didn't expect that! This should be remembered as one of the real good series victory for the Australian side, and we retain our status as the No. 1 Test playing nation!
It's a shame that the Selectors didn't have the balls to drop players who weren't performing (Haydon, Symonds & Lee) during the Australian summer, but it was good to see the younger guys perform after the selectors hands were forced due to injury and retirement.
I think the Aussie series win only squares things up between the 2 sides ... can't say I care much for many of Aussie cricket players ... mostly dickheads IMO.
Bring on the ODI's ... go SA!!
Wrong - SA, won the first 2 Tests in Aust, the Aussies won the last. We have now won the last two in SA, making it 3/2 to us.
Doesn't matter anyway, they are treated as two separate series and we have a 2/0 lead in this series.
Fair enough, they do sometimes come across as such. However I have the same feeling towards the SA players, starting with their captain.
Yeah ... you are probably right ... I just enjoy the rivalry and old habits die hard ... Aussies are just so damn good ... still can't believe SA beat them in Aus.
I think Graham Smith bearable these days ... he seems to have matured a lot and is not so quick to shoot his mouth off (as he did during the 2005 series).
I can only imagine how the Soth Efrikens are feeling:
"WOW, we won a series against an (admittedly underdone) Aussie side IN Australia. Now in the return leg, at OUR home, with the same squad that's brimming with confidence, we've been beaten convincingly by an even more underdone Aussie side sporting 3 debutants and another guy with onl 1 test under his belt."
Bwahahahahaaaaa!![]()
There is an interesting article on allrounders on cricinfo.com at the moment.
Kallis - best allrounder?
If you're statistically inclined there is some interesting food for thought.
Wish Steve Waugh didn't do his back in....
Cricket was the english joke the rest of the world didn't get...
Seems the Aussies have won the toss a lot in the Aus and SA test series ... hopefully SA can win the toss, bat first and put the Aussies under pressure.
Come on SA!!

40 runs in 17 overs??
so sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooow!!
India v NZzzz is turning out to be a good game though...

Along comes the biggest dickhead ever ... Ricky Ponting ... has an absolute spray at the umpire about changing his mind and getting assistance from the 3rd umpire. Either way it was an additional run on the scoreboard ... so he just didn't want Kallis to be credited with the run. Come on Ponting ... be a good sport. No wonder the Aussie cricket team has a reputation for being bad sportsmen.
Graeme Smith may apparently be arrogant ... but he would never have caused such a scene when someone from the opposing team just made a century.
Karma mate ... ever heard of it?
What do people think of the ECB's efforts to stop players like Hughes and Clark from playing County cricket ahead of the Ashes?
Personally, I'd rather see 22 blokes playing at the best of their abilities rather than some coming back from lay offs underdone because the host nation recognised it was in their best interests to allow less opportunity for acclimatisation.
It's strange though, ECB officials were quoted as saying there was no chance of English players getting game time in the Sheffield Shield, and I agree with them because there has never seemed to be many (Andy Flower comes to mind as an exception, as does Keppler Wessels and Murray Goodwin) non-Australians playing. County cricket always struck me as a bit different though in the courting of internationals (Warne used to play every year IIRC).
It's a puzzling situation... of course the ECB should be reluctant to give oppositions an advantage, and in the light that there isn't an identical (or near enough to) recipricol arrangement I understand their position. We do offer tour matches against the State sides and I've always had the opinion that touring parties don't take them remotely seriously, but the situation on a whole is a bit strange.
