I often consider studying something, just to amuse myself.
After seeing the fucking morons we graduate, I'm fairly certain it isn't all that hard.
I work at Curtin and hear hear to shiyte taking up bays but i have nothing against Hyo's they are cheap bikes to get you from a-b while your learning but the fesking scooters that park up in the gaps in between other bikes and block you from getting out until everyone has left... grrrr. I had to pick one up and move it out of my way the other day. They are really light!
The only time I don't like cooters parking in bike bay is down near the Tav, that place is always full but scooter riders seem to think no empty bays means they can squeeze between bikes worth up to 10 times more than their shitty scooter and crawl all over everyones shit trying to get out. Not everyones that rude I guess most scooters just park right behind you in the same bay so you either have to move their scooter or sit there and wait for them to get back.
Third year mechanical engineering student here, not looking forward to these continuous days of rain where im forced to drive instead of ride!!
I'm doing final year mechatronic eng at Curtin. Getting a locker in 314 is joy and costs $5 for a year.
Also, protip: I used to park at 314, but I just discovered parking under 204 on the side that has the bridge to the reception. There's generally a few bikes there. It has 1nsane rain protection and it's mighty convenient. Just don't steal all the spots![]()
Hey ive been parking under 204 for more than a year now, i dont wanna see anyone steal my spot!![]()
sex on wheels
Thanks for the tip on 314.
You can out ride the law, however never the laws of physics.
I've heard some people talk about some security concerns regarding bikes parked at Curtin. I try to park near the tav if I'm early because I like my bike to protected against the elements. Has anybody here had any problems regarding bike damage/theft whilst at Curtin?
never had any security problems at Curtin with my bike... sometimes the bike bays get full during semester time, I have been stuck in the one up near the guild several times with bikes behind me, so I don't park there for that reason anymore.. if its home time, I wanna go home![]()
Chee you cash in.
University for Wankers and Assholes ftw.
I'm in for the Curtin meet and greet - see yous there.
Also... free barbecue and drinks (possibly beer but not 100% sure on this) out the front of (301) Applied Physics for all students & staff this Friday (tomorrow) at 1pm.
It's between Henderson Court and the Applied Physics building -otherwise just run a lap of the physics building and you'll find it somewhere. I'll be wearing my PSB jumper if anyone wants to meet up (:

I work here too – if thats what its called.
I help sort out your Sh#t with the Uni when things go wrong .
I park at the back of the Tav also and yes those scoots are a real pain when they block you in. I have had to move them several time now , next time I aint going to be that considerate by putting the thing back.
Hi ho Curtin crew hope to catch up with some of you on the 11th. Unfortunately I cant stay for long on this occasion – have work to do sorting out what to do with this semesters just to be harvested crop of terminated students .![]()
