Hey folks,
Can anyone recommend a custom jeweler or at least what to look for when trying to pick one?? Need someone who works with platinum.
Cheers,
BJ

I used Jewelery Design Studio in Joondalup, so have many others. Pretty sure they are a site sponsor. I was very happy with my commission, so was my ex GF! Not sure about platinum but I'm sure it would not be a problem?
I used to have a nice sig offering to shadow ppl. Now I have no sig...

yeh site sponsor JDS (check out the Sponsors section), if they can't help you I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction![]()

+1 for JDS, Alex is a genius
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.
Buy my stuff, everything now half price - http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/foru...woofer-144818/
JDS are groovy, and I know a guy in Nedlands as well, did some very nice custom work for me a while back.

Michael Quy in Morley.
Exceptional!
Solid Gold are also very good. Their after sales service is great and they do work with platinum. The GF is very please with the result.

+1 for solid gold
Great advice, great prices, great products and excellent after sales support. We got lifetime cleaning and annual irodium plating with our wedding rings, and they hand made my wifes platinum wedding ring for the same price as a cast one

So iv recently found out that being a BHP employee gives you certain bargaining abilities at Solid Gold... Heavily discounted, if not cost price jewellery!
Not sure whether it applies to custom work, or what is required of me to make it work, but if you dont find what your looking for at JDS and your keen to explore Solid Gold, let me know and ill look into it for you!
Mods - Im not trying to take business away from site sponsors at all but if you feel that this detracts from the thread or is not supportive of our sponsors, feel free to remove my comment.

Pretty sure BHP employees get cheap Argyle diamonds too?

went and seen Alex at JDS, bloody great service, explained the ins and outs of it all!!! I'm a newb and have never seen the point in jewellery, even 'special' stuff, but walked out of the shop a little wiser. Very very helpful go back in a month and pick my gear up.... 2 thumbs up
^^just what i wanted to hear, will be getting a ring made soon so i now know where to go.
Theirs no replacement for displacement
I used Christopher Bailey in South Perth when organising a custom made ring. Was happy with the service and feedback during every step of the process

Just don't go to a jewellery shop.
Find out who makes it for the shops and he's the man.

Viper: pretty much all the recommendations so far have been for manufacturing jewellers.
