DRAFT PSB LOGO

The PSB logo has been a long time in the making.

Our brief to Marketing Agency was:

1) It must contain the letters ‘PSB’ a this is how most people refer to it.
2) It must contain the full website address as this is how people find it.
3) It must be simple, with no imagery, and contain only those colours that regularly appear on bikes so that people wont mind putting the vinyl cut stickers on their bikes.
4) It must look like it is "street" and look like it has fallen off a motorbile (road rashy).
5) It must not look too streety as to look unprofessional or look like it was done by a couple of street kids.

Provided you are all happy the logo PSB will imidiatly take on the new branding. Laser cut vynal bike stickers will be made along with other merchandise (apparel, cards, key-wrings) so that we can help promote the site and keep your shit lookn cool.

I hope your happy with the result.

In all honesty I prefer the current one. More inline with the 'racy' image of the sports bikes which we all (Generally) ride, would make a better decal for on the tail of a sportsbike.

Fattening up the font *does* make it look better, but as presented in the first post the font is the same as that used in shitty WA Salvage stencils, the lettering is too tall and it comes off a bit 1989, which I just don't feel is inline with the image we are IMHO going for.

I don't think the product passes stipulation #5 based on that.

Just my opinion.

An example of the kind of font I think should be used in the logo - same as the one used in Fight Club.

I tend to agree with Chris. I think the font needs to be a bit more modern and "aggressive" - lower text height and fatter.......

It doesnt jump out at me as anything stunning, no offence intended, as it's all about what image you're trying to portray. If it's a state of the art new fan dangled something then that logo's not the one, but we're just a bunch of dudes on bikes, so we dont need the latest shiznit.

It doesnt have bells and whistles like the www.perthextreme.com logo did (with the red X) I liked that one
