    Favourite Compilation Cassette (or album)

    Check out this site:

    80's Tapes

Awesome link to bring back the memories of those among us who are Gen X (older Gen y'ers and younger boomers also). Once upon a time did you used to have a stash of compilation albums with all our favourite hits (and some shit)? You'd chuck it on when your mates came round, or used your selection of hits to impress the ladies?

Did you have a favourite? Do you still have it now?

My fave was either "1981 - Over the top" or "Choose 1985".

The link also includes artwork & audio.

Remember the TV Show "Gladiators"? They had a CD brought out of songs picked by all the competitors, I could play that CD on random all day long, brilliant selection of music from multiple genres. ...still got it around here somewhere I think. Not 80's I know, but good compilation music regardless. Will try to find track listing...

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

The happiest people don't HAVE the best of everything, they MAKE the best of everything.
