no, but its nice to think so sometimes...
Life experience and other skills directly related or not? Yeah of course.
I suppose I was talking about the straight out of school and in to uni scenario.

FIFO rocks.....
Tried my hand at a 5 days a week office job and its just not ME!!
Work with many Grads out of Uni, usual know everything better attitude, pretty humourous when they experience something not written in a text book and have to think for themselves, meltdown.....

I have also worked with some people who are not educated (certificate wise), but, Extremely knowledgeable in the position they have.
If that makes any sense???
Head down, bum up for them and it has paid off....
Coffee Time!!!
Schlumberger problem gives me heaps of internet time!!!
My ultimate goal in life!
there are definatly some good and bad grads. I got knocked back from my job the first time beacuse my uni grades wern't high enough, eventually landed it through another avenue.
A lot of the guys who got in on the first wave with high grades are really struggling to deal with the people (biggest part of our job really) and unknowns that are bound to pop up on site.
Your attitude determines your altitude of success!
So, what's your attitude?
Scratch with the headless chooks or soar with eagles!
buy gun, shoot both. start up a meat/poultry packing and reselling enterprise and profit from both.
Then you could just be an entrepreneur, live the city lifestyle with the FIFO money![]()
crikey, i want back the 10 minutes of my life it took to read all that shite.
