    Finding that elusive picture/sond/video

Ok guys, this is an idea I saw on another big forum and I think it might just work here too.
More or less if theres something you have seen at some stage (pic, video , song) and you cant seem to find it on the net, post up the most detailed description you can think of, theres a good chance someone have also come accross it in thier wanderings.

    For example,
Im trying to find a 3min clip I used to have of one of the winter X games ( I think japan) that more or less a complation with Bodyjars "Hazy shade of winter " as the soundtrack.

The other one im trying to find is a music clip I saw one rage once, that has a couple of kids flying a glider in a field and the shapes of people in the clouds singing

    good hunting =P

An orange glider and it lodges itself in the cloud...floats back down with angel dust on it? "starlight, hey, what you need"

    Something like that?

I'm trying to find a song for download.

I can't remember what it's called, but the tune goes "de do do do, de da da da."

    It's from the '80s.

    Little help?

    OK here is a corker

I am looking for a song called "one two three" with the title in English, sung in French by a female (of the sexy French Variety). I am almost positive that is what the title is. This is a very contemporary (new) song

This is NOT the winning 1976 Eurovision song
This is NOT "un deux tois" by some DJ snothead

    D'oh

Speaking of songs sung in French, I heard Melanie Safka on the radio for the first time in 20 years last week!

    Good idea Mr.Moose.

This one's bugged the shit out of me for well over 15 years. I've tried so many forums, movie experts and even David Stratton (didn't get a reply), also the SBS archivist Empire magazine and other avenues.

On SBS back in the late 80's early 90's David Stratton used to present his movie of the week. He once put on a movie that could have been shot in the late 60's or 70's. It starts in colour for the opening scene then back to black and white for the bulk of the film and ends in the final minutes in colour.

Synopsis: A young, idealistic Red army soldier (could be another Eastern block communist country) gets posted on a trans Siberian prisoner transport train and during the journey his comrades reveal their darker side. Letting prisoners out to play poker and gamble, having prostitutes on the train, drinking etc, etc. He tries to rmind them of their duty as soldiers and is met by laughter.

Eventually he goes nuts and shoots them all. As the train pulls into Red Square underground station on the return trip the carnage is discovered and he finds himself being hunted my half of the army based in Moscow (or wherever they are). Ends up holed up in a toilet cubicle where upon the film ends with him shooting himself.

I'm assuming it was set in Stalin - Russia, dead of winter. I'm assuming it was Russian, could be Chzech film, Hungarian etc. I remember this film so vividly from when I was about 14 or so. A great film I'd love to find the title of so I can then start the journey of finding a copy of it.

ps: looking for a sound-bite for the horn-blower at the IPL. If you watched any of the matches, you'd know what I'm talking about...
