It still is a great show in the aspect that it deals with cars , and deals it as it goes.

You watch drivetime here, and the reviews shit mea to tears. Ok, Nissan gives them a Navara ute, and its a 10 minute advertisement, its so this and so that, its only ever showing the positives.

On the otherhand, you get Jeremy sit into the new C2 Citroen, and as he drives up the runway, he pretends to fall asleep to basically say "its a slow pile of shit" , then he blurts it out in a sarcastic way and as far as i think , thats the way it should be. Its honest journalism , what is VERY VERY hard to find nowadays. If he dislikes the dash , he will say it has about as much charm as a McDonalds coffee cup and feels like a ice-cream bucket in quality.

This , i love. If i want to be told how amazing the new Navara ute is , i could call into a Nissan dealer and have him piss in my pocket .

The show has the good fortune to be produced by the BBC - ie not commercial station. There's no advertisments on BBC, no car ads, so they don't have to pander to the big car makers & flatter their crappy products to retain valuable advertising revenue. Jeremy has the luxury of independence, he's still a cock though.
