Local Crook Guts Crew representative.
The only reason its not news is because it was bleedin' obvious.
I love the way the survey was taken. be honest that you wouldn't try and mess with someones head that was taking a survey on australia day on the foreshore.
i try and mess with peoples heads EVERYTIME they try and take a survey.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
What culture would Australians be loosing? Drinking beer until you pass out? Beating people because they have a different opinion? Not working and being on the dole? Not being educated?A total of 56 per cent of people with car flags feared their culture and its most important values were in danger, compared with 34 per cent of non-flaggers
At least I'm not racist, I hate everyone equally![]()
Hmm.. seems i feel that way but just dont have enough space on me little cage.. lol! but I will have a southern cross tat on my face. OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE!!

obvious result is obvious
and just as well, i was about to go and buy some for the ute. Lucky I didn't or I'd have turned into a racist.
Gutsy question. You're a shark. Sharks are winners, and they don't look back because they have no necks. Necks are for sheep.

So I guess a - FUCK OFF because I have no understanding of your culture and values and therefore assume they are inferior to my own - sticker wouldn't fit either.

LOL a mate of mine who served in the Australian Army has expressed to me in the past that he and some of his old army mates see the trend of flags on cars as more about copying the Americans rather than being truly patriotic... the comment "if they're really patriotic, and want to show it, join the army and serve our country" was what he told me... and to be honest, I agree with him... I just feel it's a shame that people who fly the flags on their cars sometimes look down on those who don't as "unpatriotic"... we live in this great nation where we have the freedom express our patriotism in our own ways

Not aimed at you at all, just in general. I see both on about the same level and often on the same vehicle. As above if you want to show patriotism back it up with something that actually has meaning.
So, let me get this right, the 'racist patriots' are frowned upon for their personal views against certain minority groups. So the do-gooders draft them into a group of their own and then throw everyone who chooses to display their national flag on their national day into this same group?
Can you say hypocrite?
Everyone just needs to relax, I say.
Well let's see......
Served in the army ...... Check
Served overseas twice.... Check
Flags on my car... I have two.
Hell I even have a southern cross sticker plastered on the back window.
I couldn't give a flying monkeys arse about the stupid poll, it's biased... Clearly. I fly my flags cause I am proud of everything the flag stands for. I have a PSB sticker on my car, does that mean I am concerned that the bike culture is going to die out? What about everyone who has to have their family stickers across the back of their car? Are they so insecure about having a family that they have to put it on their car? Ummm I would say no it's a load of crap.
Australia is what it is cause we are a mixture of all races across the world, in my opinion that's what makes us an awesome country. Am I insecure and worried Australia is losing its culture cause I fly flags... No I am fucking proud of where I come from and what I have fought for!
On two wheels or four - the coastal road is heaven
Another manufactured justification for the PC brigade to attack anyone who shows pride in their country as being a racist.
Only 91%?.. I wonder what the results would be in the middle east?
What a load of shit.
I don't put them on my car, not because I'm unpatriotic, its because I think its corny.
That said, even I wouldn't lump Australian flag flyers in the racist bin because 513 said they think the White Australia policy did good.
UWA - Expected so much more.
Its all good.
I think it's unpatriotic to fly a flag on a car collecting bugs and left up after sundown, I think it's unpatriotic to wear it as a cape or swimwear or even a t-shirt, I think it's unpatriotic to fly a Chinese made Australian flag on a foreign made car, it's my opinion that a flag should fly on a pole treated with a certain level of respect, reverence and ceremony
I'm probably unAustralian but to me patriotism would be buying and supporting Australian owned and made, even if the Australian that owns it or makes it isn't the same colour as you.
Some have even called me racistI see that we have different cultures, I may even joke about your culture or birthplace, but if you want to call yourself Australian I won't argue that status, all who want to call it home should be welcome

Do you remember the good old days before the internet?
when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.

Think you hit the nail on the head right there. Well done old chap,---
oops I meant onya cobber.
82% of statistics are made up... oh hang on insn't that a statistic. (my Managing directors favourite line..)
so they found 513 people sober enough that they could understand their answers at the skyworks. how did they choose them, i bet it wasnt a compulsory survey, what percentage told them the pissoff, thew up on them or invited them back to their place so they moved on to the next one??
1 in 5 flew flags so 20%, around 102 people, 43 % said w.a.p good thing, so 43 people slurred that comment
25 percent of non flaggers agreed which is 102 people just said something to get them to leave them alone
so twice as many non flag wearers thought it was a good idea
take out the flag comment and what have you got ??
fuckall, another case of skewing a flackey set of numbers and pulling out what you want to support your own personal views on society and promoting it as fact. As Flavor Flav said back in the day "dont believe, dont, believe dont believe the hype"
good to see our higher education funding used to beat us around the head with. bunch of finger banging chicken diddlers
I cant help it if my reality doesnt match your perceptions
