rang a mate up to ask if it's cool to still use him as a referee on my cv, and 1/2 an hour later he's picking me up and heading off to site.heading north from arthur river this arv, everyone was flashing their headlights, which we thought was cool due to double demerits and the amount of wanker cops and multinovas on albany hiway. then a hiway patrol comes over a crest and flashes his headlights too. thought he was a top bloke.then changed our minds when my mate who was driving realised he had the headlights n hi beam, and spotties. that was a good laugh

    Just got home from Coldplay.

Despite not playing Shiver or Speed of Sound, and the awful audio setup in the Burswood dome (fuck you Burswood) it was a fucking great performance.

I'm a happy chappy today. Why?

I just handed in my notice.
I have tickets to the Isle of Man TT
I have tickets to Oasis at Wembley Stadium
I have tickets to Avenue Q
I'm off to Istanbul in 2 weeks.
My wonderful husband and my good friends gave me very thoughtful gifts for my birthday - Copha being one of them!
I'm off to the launch of the 2009 R1 tonight around the corner from my place.
    AND IT'S MOTHERFUCKIN FRIDAY, BITCHES!!!

They kind of did do Speed of Sound but it was a poor acoustic version on their secondary 'stage', and Chris Martin described it as fucking awful. True mate, true!

I promised myself after the last Coldplay visit, that never again would I go to see a band at the Dome, but a friend of mine got me tickets so I could hardly say no.

Despite the Dome's acoustics and the fact that Chris Martin can't sing to save his life, tonight's performance was all kinds of awesome. I think Chris was genuinely blown away when the whole crowd sang the chorus of Fix You.

I could hardly believe I was in Perth, such was the reaction from the crowd, everyone got really into it.

So off to bed I go with a very happy smile on my face, and with the slight buzz of too loud music to lull me to sleep.

    Happy times.

I'm just pissed I didn't take my camera.

Had seats that would have let me get some really decent shots

Also, I registered CamInJapan.com to keep a travel-log / photo diary of the holiday. Splendid.
