Drivers who can drive!

Merging onto the Mitchell freeway today there was a white ford laser (really old and nasty car) who merged really well, they didn't try to creep up past the car in front and asserted their position on the road so that I wouldn't try that on them. More than I can say for the person behind me. A bike isn't too wide so there was still room for them to pull up next to me when I was in the centre of the road. Sure all drivers should merge like the laser, but compared to what I'm used to it was a pleasant surprise.
