The good thing in my life today was leaving my desk for just 5 minutes & when I returned I found my airline tickets for me & my boy's 3 month trip to europe have rocked up, which of course includes our phuket accommodation for our stopover on the way......

plus, just worked out only 48 work days left till we go!!!!!

Easy.

I love my mum.

Through out my life my relationship with my mother has grown.
It is through the word games that we started playing in early childhood that i have the grasp of english i do now.

I am blessed to have a mother that has always encouraged me to grow, question, explore and think without prejudice.

Her ability to listen without interruption helped me understand the art of conversation. An art all to lost in this "look at me", "i am the best" age where people need to drown you in tales of how good they are with out any care for what you have to say.

She has listened as i explained the mistakes i made in life and thanked me for sharing them with her.

Her non judgmental manner has allowed our parent/sibling relationship grow into a true friendship. I am happy to say my mum is one of my best friends. (So much so i bought her here).

She is loyal, compassionate and filled with unconditional love for her children. A better role model i could not wish for.

I am inspired by her daily desire to keep her brain active and at 73 do not hesitate to bring her to functions and gatherings as she is able to communicate on any level. A trait most people lose as they age.

I am blessed to have a mother that not only accepts that i like riding motorbikes but recognized that i was saddest when i did not have one. (Then encouraged me to go get another one).

My mother has also raised a beautiful daughter. A daughter that also has a desire to continue to learn, with numerous university degrees, a doctorate and is a published author. A daughter whose work ethic has seen her become quite successful in her field. Plus she has given mum a grandson.

It is nice to be able to go home, sit down and talk openly about anything. It is this environment of open communication that helped us grow. Life is about growth.

I love my mum, i am blessed.

my two best friends know i don&#39;t wanna celebrate my 21st. So this weekend they&#39;ve arranged a suprise day for me, and dinner with all my friends tomorrow night. I&#39;m not sure if I love them or want to kill them cos I hate suprises..... but god im glad they care.

Having such beautiful friends that are always looking out for me. People that come and see me at work just to give me a hug or bring me lifesavers because im grumpy or steal me food from functions. Workmates that dirty dance on me until i laugh when im having a bad night.

The amazing people i&#39;ve met through PSB who are constantly going out of their way for me. PSB&#39;ers who let me crash in their spare room when i&#39;m too fucked to drive home, lend me bike gear, take me pillion out on rides, come and hangout at work when i have nothing to do, help me move house cause im scared of my housemate, drive out to my house at night just because i need company. I&#39;ve only been on PSB 5 months and i&#39;ve made lifelong friends. i love youse

My parents who may not agree with the way i live my life but love me regardless. My mum who calls me frantically everytime she hears about a bike accident.
