My Duc, every time I go out to the garage and catch a glimpse of it, it amazes me that it's actually my bike.
I know she's been a pain in the arse, but just kicking her over, revving her and listening to the very angry v-twin crackle from the Ti termi full system more than makes up for it.
Sometimes, like just then, I completely forget that I have it in my possession, and get a bit of a jolt when I see her.
Regardless of how shit life gets, she's a little reminder that it could be a lot worse.
This is the first vehicle that has had a sex, a name. She's a keeper.

I get a similar feeling when I see my buggy in my carport. Admittedly, the sound when it starts isnt quite as pretty (it sounds like a truck - a poorly maintained truck ) and its currently got the seats and the dash ripped out. But looking at its fibreglass body, raised back end, open top and roll cage and I am just so happy I finally got it.
