I was reading the hate on women thread, and for some reason, had an urge to post. I sat, and I sat, and I stared at that white box at the bottom of my screen. And not a single topic came to mind.
Not a single woman has ticked me off recently. I am happy with every woman in my life. I'm shocked, amazed, and a little bit excited.

After 4 years working at my current job, and feeling generally pretty stale there for the past year, an opportunity to do a similar job, but somewhere else, has opened up. A job that I not only meet the basic requirements for, but actually completely fit the bill for all the little things they're looking for in a potential employee. And, to make it even better, its a pay increase. So I applied for it last night, and got a call from the job contact today, asking to meet me: "this is not an interview, its just a casual chat. I know you're currently working full time, when can you spare a bit of time to meet us, talk about the role, see if you're still interested?".
He sounded pretty sold on me, pending my interest, and I'm really excited to step up and take a more positive step as far as my working life is concerned. Something that could actually lead to a career, as opposed to 'just a job'.

after the week ive had its ending on a fabulous note
a)I sorted out my pay so i should be getting over $300 in back pay next week
b)i got asked to house sit in east perth for 3 weeks at the start of april woohooo the high life
c)and my bestie is coming to visit from gero in 2 weeks yey i get to see my niece
heavy snow expected this afternoon
i haz a new PSP game
husband sent me flowers yesterday

We've seen it at the regular cinema before, was awesome.
Got it on HD at home, but I think to truly appreciate the film you need to see it in IMAX - it was filmed using IMAX technology anyways.
Looking forward to the scene with Batman standing on the building in Hong Kong, that's going to look very schweet.
That is exactly what was said to me when I applied for this job I was even phoned on a Saturday & asked to come in for a chat.
