I've neen having problems with my mobile. It squeeked and dropped out and cut off phone calls.
Today it was the worst it had been. I use it as a modem and everytime i connected it turned itself off.

I pulled it apart after it gave me a sim warning and had a look in the back. There was a silver bit i could see through a hole in the casing. I picked up a pen and i poked it.
    It went click!

Now my phone works perfectly again.
Best it has functioned in a couple of months.

    Woo hoo random pen sticking!

Small penis syndrome? No such thing.

    It's a condition, not a syndrome.

Awesome week so far, mulched the front garden, bike being serviced and gearing changed, bought a cross trainer thing and love it (can feel benefits already), Albany-South Coast-Margs trip planned, catching up with mates this week and tomorrow will be ol' friend, wine, woodfired pizza and Dark Knight blu-ray on the big screen.

This week is awesome I feel energized - I've sat still too long!

I'm a student again, holy shit. Haven't really been a student in... I dunno, ten, eleven years?

Adam is coming out tomorrow to see the site, it'll be groovy having somebody else around here for a bit.

Another day closer to getting home and taking Tamika to Cirque De Soleil, then off to Jeffs party, then off to Lees party.

A couple of quiet days after that, then off to Coldplay during my next work break, and only a couple of weeks after that we're off to Japan again.

This year is off to a pretty rad start.

    It'll only be a smudge.

GTIL - all kinds of things.
    1. I bought a new steetfighter style headlight from eBay for the SRAD, ad said "ADR compliant". Thing rocks up, no stamp or paperwork for ADR. I message the vendor, explain the problem, ask if he'll fax me a statement of compliance as a bit of a joke.

"Yeah, no worries, we have the same problems over here in Queensland with roadside nazis and aftermarket pipes." An hour later, I get a fax stating ADR compliance AND including a copy of the relevant parts of the rules so I know how to line it up etc during install.

    2. Bandsaw, mill and grinder, plus some scrap aluminium = new instrument cluster mounting bracket for the srad (behind the new headlight assy). An evening on the tools with a decent result. I'm quite happy with that.

    3. Finally, after weeks of farting about, I found (literally) the magic checkbox which makes all my pano stitching software work the way I want to. I can now do the stitch to multiple masked layers in Photoshop (all in 16 bit per channel colour), then manually blend the images with the mask tool. It's awesome, I'm loving the results, and I can finally clear a backlog of scenery pics that's been building up for a few months.

    YAY!
