Can I watch you trying them on?
Lol didn't end up going for much of a sail. Wind was like ~35 kn gusting to 45. I think I'd have been right with a 3.5m rather than the 5.5 lol.
Congrats Jimmy boy!

Congrats, Jim - hope you enjoy the new life !!
Pussy. My bro is in Namibia at the moment (or maybe on his way back) at the GPS speed trials, and off to Sandy Point for the same in a week or so. 45kn and he's usually running a 6.5m sail.Lol didn't end up going for much of a sail. Of course, instead of a bouyancy vest he's wearing a 20kg weight jacket to help hold the bastard down...

I had a rant
<rant>
it was sunny outside 5 minutes ago. now its raining.
sleazy door to door sales people with amphetamine induced enthusiasm and trainee junkie in tow that wont bugger off when you tell them you're not interested in their dodgey 2 dollar shop credit cards.
</rant>
Then i realised. It started pissing down just as they walked out the door.
Im happy again.

Depends. Fresh fruit n veg, and beer is cheap. meat is fairly expensive, as well as fast food ~$9aus JUST for a whopper.Nice work daise. But is it realy as expensive to live there as what every one keeps saying?[/b]
But there are takeaway shops that are really cheap, and works out cheaper to buy takeaway Indian/Chinese than it would for me to cook
Public transport is my biggest expense at the moment - but then again it would be worse paying for fuel.
It's the same basic as anywhere else - it's only as expensive as you'd make it.
OMG I did that at TSA, in front of about 4 people!I just accidentally answered the phone at work as "Welcome to PSB, this is Jeff"
I am such an idiot![/b]
And congrats Jimmeh!!!![]()

My bleeding heart heals with joy that you are happy...
Sigh, twas my 2nd sail in 2 years... but i digress I was feeling kind of soft. Your brother sails in flat seas tho (heck I'd want to). What sort of speeds is he doing?Pussy. Congrats on the job Daise...
Congrats on the job Desmo...

Even in this typically shite Southern hemisphere weather, riding home brings a smile to my face knowing that if I'd stuck it out doing FIFO, I'd;
- still be at work for an hour after I've finished here
- not be riding home
- not be home every night
- not have mobile coverage to SMS people (might be a negative, haven't decided yet)

Amen, brother. Amen.

..good to see you are loving it as much as me Hornet...
I was playing in traffic in the pissing rain on the motard and loving it..
